Just had this lovely update from John, Jasmin and James. Hi Jenny Ed is fantastic, a right little character especially when he wants his tummy rubbed. he wasnt very well this morning he threw his breakfast up, so we have been fussing him alot to cheer him up and hes loving it gave him a bath yesterday what a good little boy never moved or complained he loved getting dried think he thought it was a game. sometimes you wonder if you have to wind him up hes quite lazy when he wants to be, nosy little bugger though always keeps one eye on whats going on and he keeps stealing dads shoe and mums pot pourri he doesnt destroy anything just takes it to his bed. he was a bit grumpy when mum and dad dropped me off at uni and he whined alot but i will be home again wednesday night so lots of fussing for him!!! I will send you the pictures tomorrow he looks so cute. I think we can safely say that this little chap has landed firmly on his paws, roaching for England and a doting family ;D

An update from John on how Eddie is doing. .................................
Hi Jenny sorry i have not been in touch or sent any up to date photo's, i have been really busy at Uni and for some reason my computer is not sending photo's. As you can see we have slightly changed Ed's name to Ned which he has become used to very quickly. He's getting a big boy now and is piling on the muscle from running.
I will send you photo's as soon as I'm able to. We were wondering if there was anyone in our area with a similar dog from the rescue that we could possibly meet up with so Ned can play with another dog, that can keep up with him? he's become so quick and loves to play fetch with a nerf bomb toy that i found, it whistle's in the air and he loves it he will carry it all the way to the field and will play for quite a while with it, wont carry it back though.
he's is a constant scrounger you would think he wasnt fed! he has also taken to sleeping on my bed if im in it got quite the shock first time he did it.
Took him to the VET a couple of weeks ago as he had hurt his back paw but there was nothing but a bruised claw got his nails done while he was there he was every so good for the VET but he did put a great dane in its place in the waiting room after the great dane came on a little to strong for Neds liking, little bugger scared the hell out the great dane even though he was only a quarter of the size.
i can now see why they say a whippet has two speeds 35 mile an hour and zero he sleeps more than a cat he has become a great addition to our family and i miss him loads when im away and by the greating i get when i come home i think he's glad to see me too. .................................
Eddie lives in Chesham Bucks. So if anyone is near there and wants to walk then please get in touch through us.xx

Ned was taken to a local show this week. He has lost a lot of his excess weight and went into the Most Handsome dog class, and came second. ;D He is so well loved. Someone remind me to remind them when the next fun day is for SLR as they would love to come next year. Here he is, and looking good. Very like the new Mr. Blue we have in at the moment.
