ohh, I bet she was under your bed cover last night, Barney, feeling nice and warm and safe.... I must confess that I dithered over working out the logistics of where six dogs were going to kip, & I ended up sleeping not in my bed but on the large settee in the lounge, with Callum, (who snores gently), one side, & Ellie starting off on t'other, but very soon working her way under the duvet, after which she barely stirred all night.
The wee lass has been as good as gold all day, (we won't refer to a certain Andrex incident, where she was quite obviously led astray ), & she craves affection - she's ready for a cuddle anywhere, any time.

"..... working her way under the duvet........" You see, Barney, Jenny and I were right when we guessed she would be crawling under your bed covers to be near you. ".......she craves affection..........." Of course, Barney, dogs cannot speak (oh, can't remember how many times I wished they could! ) However, she DOES communicate with you very well, because she is SHOWING you just how VERY grateful she is having found human love by the way she's RESPONDING to your care....... So, tiny Elli's guardian angel kept an eye on her, leading her safely into SLR, this very special sanctuary for very special little rescue dogs like tiny Elli........ And you, tiny Elli, be assured uncle Barney and auntie Jenny will only find you that very special forever home because you are such a special little houndie..................... X X X

She is indeed Karen - she's a dear little soul, who is also a countersurfer, (or she would be if her little legs were long enough! ;D ).
Barney x
p.s. I'll attempt to get some more pics over the weekend.

Ellie was in reflective mood this morning - she's an intelligent lass, & she obviously knew that summat was up:
Then a stranger arrived, & she happily introduced herself to Paul, including administering him a serious face- washing session.
Having decided that Paul seemed a very o.k. sort of chap, she very quickly agreed to adopt him as her new Dad, & left the building with him to make the long journey home to Hayling Island.
Ellie has a new brother, Brodie, a 4 year old retired racing Greyhound who came from Battersea, & she will of course have ready-made friends in the shape of Joy's Sam & Bonnie, with little prince Elmer not too far away either.
There is every possibility that Ellie will put in an appearance at the Havant PAH meet & greet next weekend, since following yesterday's event at Harlow she's an old hand at it. ;D
Be happy young lady - for such a little dot you've left a big hole in this home-kennel, but you are already very much loved.

Aw! Lovely... and yes, she should go to the meet and greet! I was saying to somebody yesterday that we should put a clause in her adoption agreement that we "borrow" her for those! Good luck little Ellie. Such a lovely little girl.

I am so pleased it all turned out o.k. Hoping to see her on Saturday will take pics. Joy x We very much look forward to seeing the pics.
Many thanks for your original 'match-making' efforts Joy, & for carrying out the homecheck, both of which played a vital part in Ellie being offered the chance of a happy future life a million miles from that which she experienced in her past existence.
Barney x
