That is good news. As Morley is only a pup I would think the cat will come around quickly.

Hi folks. Yes, I came back with signed adoption papers and one happy family. After a tearful phone conversation, they could not bear to part with him. I was greeted at the door by a tail swishing Monty who was quite happy to stand inside and didn't want to venture out. I think it was a combination of things that made them have cold feet. The first being that the cat would not come back in and then the realization that after having had 3 years without a dog their lives would all change again. Little "Monty" didn't put a foot wrong and they can't fault him at all in any way. They love him to bits and have taken on board all our advice and will be giving the cat time and space. And Monty - well he laid down on his lovely big bed by the radiator and that tail flopped up and down every time I spoke to him. I have no doubt that he will have all the love and time in the world from his new family. He does have a couple of Rotweilers in the house that backs onto them but I am sure that David and Victoria will make sure that they are well enclosed. ;D Jane has promised to go on the next greyhound walk in Pish. I'm not sure she is ready for the onslaught of 16 off-lead lurchers yet Given time, and the little angel Monty continuing in the same happy way he is, they'll get there. God bless little man. Be so so happy.

Many congratulations to all concerned - be happy little Monty, you are already very much loved.
Barney x
May green be the grass you walk on, may blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, may true be the hearts that love you. May God grant you many years to live, for sure He must be knowing. The earth has angels all too few, and heaven is overflowing.

Cat friendlies are always welcome Gilly Well, here are my promised photos of a very very proud dad and mum and little Monty. That name suits him to a T ;D Returning today I wasn't greeted by a little tail wagging piglet. He was having a snooze in his crate with the doors open. He had had a little run round the garden and needed a puppy cat-nap with his little toy dog. Oh bless. What a proud dad. I love this picture. Photos taken little one wagged at me and then got back into his crate as if to say "this'll do nicely thank you Jenny, bye bye". You have just got to love this little doglet. He has had a tremendous amount of hits on his thread since he came into us. Be happy little man. I will see you most days. I will have to remember my camera for walks
