Tinker has left the building & is on his way to his forever home in Gillingham, Kent, with his new Mum Charlotte & new sister, Ellie a seven year old Westie. Happily the meeting of the two dogs was entirely amicable - they hit it off straight away.
Have a long, happy life with your new family Tinker - you'll be forever in my heart.

Oh Barney, so happy for Tink, he so deserves this. Be happy lovely boy. Huge respect for all you did for him to give him this chance, I’m thinking of you, the home kennel must seem very quiet without him, big hugs xx

Happy days for our favourite boy. I know you will miss him Barney But at least he is just down the road from me so can keep in contact with his nibs.

Tinker travelled well & is settling happily into his new abode. He's met Flo, Charlotte's Mum's Spaniel, & got on fine with her. All in all Tinker seems intent on proving me a liar following everything I've said about his other-dog aggression.
The lad has acquainted himself with the furniture in his new home, & has found it much to his liking.
I'll admit that a few tears have been shed & a few pints of Old Speckled Hen have been consumed following Tinker's departure, (not just by me I hasten to add, but by a couple of neighbours as well), but the glasses were raised to celebrate him finding his forever home, not to mourn his departure from our company.

Be happy Tinker, you too Barney, I don't know how you do it 🙂. I never got to be a failed fosterer, but I'm pretty sure I would have fallen at the first hurdle 😏

Well done Barney. ☺️ xx
Inky the Tinker is one of those hounds that gets to you, such a special boy. You and the girls have done your usual marvellous job preparing him for his forever home.
I know I am not the only one looking forward to updates from his new life and forever family.
All the best little Tink. xx
