Your doing well with her by the look of it Tass ,love the pictures and the girly pink coat ,Tilly has one that colour . Lots of dogs are loose for a while after a move so don't worry at the moment ,we give chicken and rice to our two when they have upset tums so see what your vet says . Treats are a good training tool but only in moderation ,we try to keep ours calm after feeding before exercise . Good to see she has her own space at night in your lounge and at least you are nearby if she is worried . As I said when we met ask anything on here that's what the forum is for X

Liver cake (as already mentioned) is great for training, until her tum settles down you could use cooked chicken cut into small pieces.

I'll email you the "Emergency Stop for Sighthounds". It's a great idea to train them to the whistle using this technique. Works for me every time, but you need to have a seriously loud referee's whistle!

The referee whistle may be confusing for the hound if you are walking near playing fields though and someone is using a similar sounding whistle to referee a game!

Wonderful updates and photos, so happy you have found each other. When I foster the pupsters quite often they have upset tummy's so I give them cottage cheese 3 times a day ,hope that helps and good luck.x

You need to follow it to a T but it works, but you only use it once a day!

Thank you all for all the great advice! Thanks Nikki for the chat this afternoon and Christine for the link and to all of you for the support and tips on here I'm booking some puppy classes too so we can learn some more stuff but mainly so she can get to know some people and pups. She's super keen to when we're out on walks but because she gets all curled up and wiggly when they get near they rarely stop (i think they think they're worrying her). People keep thinking she's a nervous adult whippet which is funny. They all seem surprised when I say she's only a pup and then usually stop and say hello gently and say how important it is for her to socialise (well yes!!). I wonder how big she'll be when she's fully grown!? She's so clever. She watches TV with me sometimes in the evening and gets all funny when there are dogs on or if people get really upset! We watched some salukis running in the desert today (I was having a read about them and found the vid) and she stared at the screen for the whole video with her head on one side and ears up. I couldn't budge her attention. Funny She's loving exploring and taking things in. She's getting braver with things out and about each day and is hilarious with her play. She has learnt to nudge her ball off the sofa at me with her nose when I'm working (I watch her in the reflection doing it!)...I had retrieved it for her just a couple of times thinking it was an accident.....honestly she cracks me up. I put the safety gate in last night so she can't get into my bedroom. She gave a few cries but still went back to bed and only came to the gate once in the late evening and then once in the morning! Clever girl! So on we go...lots of learning and challenges but a whole heap of joy and laughs Thanks again for the support

What a cute girl Mabel is. You sound smitten Tass 💞 I'm not at all surprised. By the looks of her paws I think she is going to be fairly tall! I'm so pleased you are posting here, it's nice to see the pups develop and grow 😍
