Zia's prey drive seems to manifest itself in stealing food that is ready to eat!! LOL She is a lovely dog who would benefit from canine family or friends to build her confidence when meeting other dogs. And possibly a similar age dog to play with her regularly?

Zia continues to be very lovely girly. She definitely feels vulnerable on the lead and her defence mechanism is to bark at other dogs when she is on the lead. However we let her off the lead yesterday and she was an angel 😊 She really looks to humans and other dogs for guidance so doesn't wander too far away. Her and Missy had a lovely game of chase this morning. I've got a brilliant video but I'm not sure if I can upload it or not.

Zia is such a sweetheart.

Looks like Zia isn’t used to running like that, but no doubt she’ll soon build up her muscles and be catching up with Missy

So this evening is our last night with the lovely Zia as tomorrow she moves on to The Hound Companion (Sarah) and her very handsome boy Harpo 😊 I know she is going to have lots of fun in her new foster home and I'm hoping Harpo will participate in her play because Gem seems to be getting grumpy in her old age and hasn't played as much as I'd hoped she would. Zia continues to be very loving. I can't fault her recall. She is reactive (barky) on the lead but brilliant off lead. House training is ongoing! She is a massive food thief. Very sweet though, loves people, especially children, sleeps completely through the night and isn't particularly cat reactive although I think Gem is teaching her otherwise!! We have thoroughly enjoyed her company and she is a huge cuddle monster

Well done for taking her in and giving her this great new start. She sounds like a lovely little girl and she’s done so well with you and your pack. Looking forward to hearing how she gets on with Sarah and Harpo and hopefully it won’t be too long before she finds her forever home.

Well done Emma and family on a great fostering job. Hope all goes well with the move up to Sarah's, and that Harpo and Zia become instant friends. Sending hugs as I'm sure you'll miss her Emma.
