That sounds like an FF already to me!! Hope so, but you've got to give it a few weeks to be sure.

Oh absolutely. We're playing it by ear and will see how she develops and gets on.
She met the kids tonight. Jonny wasn't much interested because she's not Peppa Pig. Eleanor loves her and she seems to be quite taken with Eleanor. We've told Eleanor that Maggie has had a bad time and we need to be calm and gentle and make her feel better but that she's not our dog but we have an important job to make her happier.

I wonder if we might fail. She just my type even down to being skittish. But we'll see how she goes. She deserves the best whatever happens. So beautiful, I know I would fail. Bless you and good luck

She was dry in the house over night and quiet. I woke up and she was laying in the hall way. We got a full on wag of the tail when she saw us this morning (me and Jonny). She's eaten well and then whined until I invited her into the living room. She clearly wants some love and fuss but she's also so worried and anxious about what people Will do. She's comw on amazingly in just over 24 hours.
There was food on the counter tops over night and it's not been touched so so far no sign of counter surfing

She's stunning. Give her time to settle with you, then maybe meet up with my wolfhound for some zoomies. They always seem to recognise the similar breed.

Update on Maggie
She's been totally clean In the house ๐
She's nervous of traffic noise on walks but loves it down by the river. She's pretty good on the lead and she will Make a fabulous running companion as she matches your speed and doesn't pull. She is keen on other dogs and wants to play with all of them. She's a friendly one. Once she full vaccinated and trusts us more I will take her to meet my friends dogs in her enclosed field and see how that goes. But that a way ahead.
You wouldn't have even known she was here most of yesterday. She laid up the quiet end of the living room while the kids played and just relaxed. She is still very nervous about being trapped in a corner or corridor with graham or I but she seems totally unphased by the kids.
She's doing great.
