Aaawwww, bless 'em. That would be great if his nose can get sorted out. A good dental is never a bad thing anyway.

I am really happy for Donny. I get regular updates from his Mum and photos as well which is lovely. It's always interesting to hear different vets opinions, Donny's new vet thinks it might be an infection on his nose that is caused by his teeth being in a bit of a state and the fact that he licks his nose of the time. So he is booked in for a good scale and polish on the 29th. It would be wonderful if this is the solution. That's interesting about him licking his nose as some years ago now one of my beardies had two really bad teeth right at the back of her mouth and it was only discovered when she had a bit of a watery discharge from her nose; that would tie in with Donny licking his nose I would think. It wouldn't show with a smooth haired dog it was only because she had a hairy face that it was obvious. Maybe this vet has hit on the problem

Have definitely got our fingers crossed for him 🤞🏼

There was a Lady on fb with a GSD that had a crusty and peeling nose, the Vet had tried everything to clear it, but nothing worked. They eventually decided it was an autoimmune issue and nothing could be done. The Lady decided to try her dog on CBD oil and her latest photos show that his nose is finally healing, it's been like a bit of a miracle. Perhaps someone should suggest this to Donny's new family, nothing ventured nothing gained as the saying goes

It's started improving in only a few days too. If she's on FB then she should join the group. It's called Canine Health - Dogs and vaccinations .. What vets don't tell you. It's an excellent source of information on natural remedies.

Thanks girls. I will relay that to Donny's adopters. Always worth a try. The next step is a descale on the teeth in case he is transferring bacteria to his nose. x

Just received an update from Donny's Mum. He is feeling very sorry for himself with one less tooth and sore gums but it's lovely to see him with creature comforts. Fingers crossed his poorly snoz will start to heal now. I've sent well wishes to him through his Mum ❤️🐶

Sending positive vibes for Donny's sore mouth and hope it helps make his nose better. I know someone who uses CBD oil with one of her dogs who has cancer and his condition has improved dramatically. There are a number of reports of positive responses related to immunity problems. Hopefully his nose will start improving now but it's worth considering CBD oil if the problem continues. Keeping fingers crossed for him
