When we went to pick up little Netty we were expecting something a little bigger. She is a wee little poppet. Netty was adopted two weeks ago from a rescue in Berkshire. She could have gone back there but the Rescue did not want to take back a whirrier type due to their location close to travellers. Netty was given into rescue as her owner went into long term hospital care. Netty is only about 16/18 months old and will be neutered in two weeks time. Netty's adopted mum of two weeks has had a change of circumstance, in that her father has now severe heart trouble and needs lots of one to one. Little Netty needs a home where she is going to be taken out and preferably with some other terrier type little ones to race around with. She doees not like big dogs at the moment, telling them off in no uncertain terms, and this is down to her not being socialized as a youngster. She doesn't show aggression but barks at them. She is going to have to get used to some big ones around her as she has just been introduced to Jazz's gang, her new foster home. When I left she was running round the garden with Lissie in tow. We are going to assess little Netty for a week and see what makes her tick. She loves people and is a good little girl and sits for treats. Only weighing 9.2 kilos she is not going to get any bigger. She has beddie in her background, the deep whirrier chest and arch but a lot of terrier too. A lovely little whirrier, who in the right home will be a poppet. Here she is. Fiesty and cute all in one.

Shes fine with my dogs ;D Shes been stood under my chair and is now lay on the bed under the desk. She does like human company. She has happily explored the garden and went in the crate ok to eat her dinner. Shes a bit bewildered being with the dogs, but seems confident enough. Shes 18" at the shoulder

just to make a few of you jealous ... she doesnt bin raid or counter surf. She goes in her crate when asks and stays there till you say she can come out. She barks at the door and when she wants to play. No sound at any other time, bliss!

Just come back from walking Jazz's Shadow, Freddie and Netty. She went out each time with the others and she had me in stitches. Every time she saw something interesting she stood on her back legs, hardly pulling at the lead, just like a Meercat!! She is so funny. I walked her along the road with heavy traffic and no problems there at all. She pulls a little on the lead, but I think that is because she has hardly been out with her first home, and then her adopted home only had her for a short time and had very difficult personal circumstances.
Netty is doing really well with Jazz's gang. She is a quiet little bod, but learning very fast that looking cute gets you loads!!! ;D

She has decided to try being a mountain goat, and jumped onto the kennel, another leap and she would have been over the fence! So the kennel has been moved. aawww she wants to play. She is going up to mine, barking and playbowing, and they have no idea what she wants lol She wants to lie with Lissie, on her bed, but Lissie isnt so keen on sharing, so Lissie is sat up in the corner and Nettie has the rest lol
She would be great for agility
