Gosh, he has changed so much. That puppyish square look to his face has gone. Well no news is good news, so no news so far..

This update came yesterday evening:
"Tatty/Bertie Day 1: Tatty has settled in well after a wary start exploring everything in the house. He soon settled and was attentive and cuddly in the evening. He slept well and we did not hear a peep from him all night. He is eating well and really enjoyed his walks today. He is a delight to watch because he enjoys meeting the new dogs and people so much. He has made a really good impression on the family as well as the neighbours who all adored him. He has certainly got off to a very good start and really has been quite adorable so far. Will send another update soon , Best wishes Chris and Jerry "

Another progress report....
"Tatty/Bertie Day 3:
Well Tatty/ Bertie is proving to be an excellent house guest. He has made all visitors very welcome and is playful and friendly with everyone. Today even with the wild weather and cold rain he really enjoyed his walks and didn't seem troubled by the wet and cold. He really loves to be outside and meeting other dogs and people. He has become increasingly playful as he gets accustomed to everything and is responding positively to any corrections when chewing/ mouthing hands , feet, shoes etc - he really does want to do the right thing . He understands 'down' if a tasty morsel is available and is responding well and more consistently to his new name. He runs like the wind around the garden and we can see that recall will need intensive work because he is so interested in everything and everyone when out and about. He would be out of sight in a second if something caught his eye. We will gradually get to the point where we can let him off the lead, but will need to be careful .
He is adorable and real pleasure to have in the house."
Well done Tatty, keep it up!

Excellent news! I note the mention of a new name; do you know what it is? Tatty on its own as a name always seemed, well a bit tatty on the inspiration front. Although, Tatty as a pet name (excuse the pun) for one of the options below would be pretty cool and a great conversation-starter! - "Tatiano" (he who is quiet): Latin
- "Tatsuhiko" (accomplished boy): Japanese
- "Tatsuaki" (reached he light): Japanese

Excellent news! I note the mention of a new name; do you know what it is? Erm...Tatty/ Bertie. To be fair Kerry, I intitially thought Bertie was another dog, but then realised they didn't have one. I like the idea of these though number 1 probably not suitable for the little pocket rocket! - "Tatiano" (he who is quiet): Latin
- "Tatsuhiko" (accomplished boy): Japanese
- "Tatsuaki" (reached he light): Japanese

Sorry - but Tatty will forever by Sue P's litle black scruff - always the littlest dog in any group but always attracting the most attention.
Either way, this Tatty/Bertie sounds like he is doing so well - I hope he has found his new home.

He certainly isn't quiet when he sees other dogs running and having fun!
Bertie was Jerry's choice, and seems to be working.
