He really is beautiful, and I was almost in tears when I went to collect him. I wondered if he was part saluki seeing as he likes to play deaf!!! Saying nuffink I don't usually take part in debates regarding a hound's breeding, but in Mory's case I have to go with the flow & agree that S****i does seem to have infiltrated somewhere along the line! ;D ;D ;D

I too reckon there is quite a bit of saluki in Mory's makeup showing in his almond-shaped eyes, his flat head, long tail and the way he carries his tail, his elegant posture, are all typical of a saluki - not to mention, of course, their famously notorious deafness regarding recall............ This in particular is certainly quite noticeable in little prince "Elmer." That is not to say he is disobedient, he will come back, eventually, ........................ in his own time!!!!! ;>)

Mory today:
& in not quite such a sedate mode:

Mory is experiencing more canine company today:
Bridie is here for 24 hours...........
.........along with Paddy:
So far so good - Bridie has put Mory in his place when he's attempted to become over-familiar with her, but she does that to everyone, since she's the matriarch of the Poole Pack & the Harlow Hooligans.

Mory knew that Sunday was the day of rest ..................
...........................except when he & Annie were plotting new mischief:
..........................or when tea & biccies were in evidence:

He certainly tried to extend it as far as possible, but he was very well-mannered, & didn't try to steal the tempting goodies, bless him.

Ludo had saluki eyes and a bushy tail and his recall was zilch. We are still hoping he might turn up....

Such a shame there have been no more sightings of Ludo, never lose hope he might be found one day.

just trying to settle in look what i found so far he's emptied the dog toy box found a chew neither of mine want we've been for a walk saw a cat he was easier to control than dizzy. he wanted to run around the park with my 2 but wasn't allowed. he has been told off by both jasper and dizzy as they are being grumy and don't want to play so we played with the toys instead (and whippet greyhound i don't think so, but gorgeous)

last night on the sofa mory having a bit of a rest sorry think i may just end up posting photos of him while he's here. Dizzy stopped being grumpy and indulged him in a bit of play in the garden, he meet a group of local dogs loved em all and he wanted to play. He went off his lead in the tennis court but wasn't interested in running around but he also came back when called.
