Glad she's doing well and is dealing with the cone ok - never had a dog that came close to accepting that indignity with good grace!

This has made my day! I've been out of the loop for a few days as had an unscheduled 48hrs in hospital but reading that Evie is safe n sound with Bruce and Elaine, mending well and being such a poppet is just fantastic. Elaine, it took me right back to Maisie's first few days here, they are so poorly but somehow their lovely nature shows through and melts your heart. Heal well lucky girl. Vibes a-plenty on their way from here xx

Evie was a good girl over Christmas when we had a very full house which at one stage included 9 dogs. She is extremely well integrated with other dogs and fits in well with no problems at all.
She is at the stage now where she is allowed to be off lead in the house with me. I can only really let her do this in the morning in the kitchen as I have to keep her separate from the others, as there would be mayhem. I usually let Billy in the kitchen with her as he likes to be with me and is very tollerant of her.
I have to watch her all the time as she can be extremely lively, I have bought a huge number of different dog chews which I give her two or three times a day just to give her something to do.
She goes back to see the vet on 22nd February when her leg will be examined under an anaest hetic and I am hoping she may be able to be neutered at the same time. Next week she is allowed to be taken on a 10 minute walk, gradually increasing to 20 mins over the following weeks.
I will add some photos later.

She is even more beautiful in the flesh. You can't see her lovely brindle tones on the photos. And she is so cuddly. She is not a small lurcher, around 25 or 26" to the shoulder. So lovely though.

she is very pretty...hope she will be manageable till she can go for proper run..not easy with the youngster to keep them calm without good runs, specially lurchers.. well done for taking good care of her..
