Lottie has healed well and her stiches will come out on Monday. It has been an interesting exercise restricting her walks and wearing the cone of shame for 14 days, but we are nearly there. Her favorite form of restricted exercise is tormenting Fred the terrier by pulling his tail and biffing him on the head and then running away. He gets so cross but puts up with it!

She also loves dragging the dog bed from room to room with Fred still in it. I think he likes it but his face says otherwise

Poor little Fred, what a good boy to put up with it, Lottie must be feeling well to be dragging him around, keeping healing vibes from us.

She sounds like an adorable character and she's done really well to get through the cone of shame ordeal for so long... as have you and Fred!!!

Stiches came out yesterday and all wounds healed. Lottie is so good at the vets and has been so often over the last few weeks she is on first name terms with everone. We are all hoping to not have a visit for some time....

Dear Mimsmun,
I'm in London so there is no real run apart from Holland Park and Kensington Gds but if you get stuck finding a foster for a cat-friendly dog I'm willing to pitch in. My son's chihuahua is with me until he returns from NY sometime in the spring or early summer. He's a rescue and low key but probably dominant and he will growl after a few minutes of play but I don't think he would keep that up with a dog that's in the flat. With the cats he only growls if they look at his food bowl! I do have a high fenced garden and am home most of the time as I'm retired. No car so I'm not ideal and haven't had a home check but for what it's worth I have experience dog-sitting one saluki and several other dogs including a giant schnauzer. Lisa

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your post, that is most kind of you. We have several fosters with cats so it is finding a cat friendly dog that we need to do!! Hope you enjoy the forum.

Fantastic run on the low tide beach at Walmer this morning. Did have to carry Lottie up a shingle bank though as the shifting shingle blew her tiny mind and she would not go over it

The daily stand off. Lottie had just pulled Freds tail and he is not happy!
