Fab news. Enjoy your own sofa Grace, you have waited a long while. Thank you Clair for your care and patience waiting for her new home to come to fruition.

We are all crossing our fingers that this works out for Grace. It will work as long as her adopters give her the time and space and patience that she needs. She is a loving dog, but has had so many changes in her last 7 years, and the scars need time to heal. Not just the outward scars but the inward scars as well. It will be Nick that she needs time to get to know and trust. But once you have the trust of Grace she bonds.

Everything crossed here for her. When Hamish first arrived he was scared of my hubby Del, and it took several months for him to realize that there was nothing to be afraid of. Now he hurls himself on him every time Del comes home from work. Just saying that it does take a while, but it is so worth it when that "YAAAYYYY" moment happens.

Everything crossed here for a good result - Grace certainly needs a brilliant home!

My experience of the challenging dogs I've owned and fostered is that they are the ones that capture your heart more than any others. There's something about them that makes it so much more special when they start bonding with you. When they take you into their hearts they stay in yours forever

I'm afraid the Adopters don't think it will work and they want to return her this Sunday. Claire is willing to have her back, but really would like to have her rehomed. Such a shame for this girlie. xxx

So very sad - we think six months at least to settle. Don't worry Grace there is someone out there to get used to your possibly quirky ways. Biggest of hugs.

This is hugely disappointing. She's come so far and both Janine and Claire can attest to how special she us once you get to know her. It's hard to know what can be done to find her a forever home. I was so hoping this would be it.

Not even a week??? That's such a disappointment. I'm so sorry for Grace. But thank you Claire for being there for her.

My one experience has really left a hole in my heart and I think that's because of his story and how well he came on with TLC. So sad for Grace, a week is not long enough, unless there's blood on the walls of course! But well done Claire for stepping up again, at least she won't have to get used to someone else.
