Goodness me Dilly Doo!! Just look at you!! Heck, she could be that hairy Having a newcomer in the home is such a distraction (who knew lol) and a lovely one at that, so I must apologise for the lack of updates and piccies. I only have a few more to post as she comes so close to the camera and plonks her nose on it when I try to take any. We're nearly there with a name. Thanks again for the suggestions. Every day brings something new, seeing her character starting to come through is wonderful. She loves playing with toys and scampers after tennis balls all legs and feet . Our old ladies have accepted her with ease in fact she could be invisible for the lack of difference she's made to them. She and Phoebe are finding their feet with each other, lots of body language and lurcher noise (they both have big barks for little lurchers) and play mixed in with how far things can be taken and what is acceptable. Phoebe can be a bit like the fun police and take away whatever toy is being played with or want to play with what little whitey has even if it's one she hasn't been interested in. They walk nicely together on the lead and every walk now is all about sniffing and four bums in the air when they're all out together. Phoebs does get rather carried away with certain how shall I put it...urges which we are putting a stop to. From staying in her crate to edging her way further in to the lounge she freely sleeps in the girls beds now and they in turn will sleep in her crate. She's been so good at night that last night I left her in the lounge and there she stayed til this morning. She gets so excited at feeding time or when there's food on offer she could be a contender on Strictly. She can't keep those dancing feet still! My friend who is a dog groomer has very kindly tidied up her scraggy uneven hair cut and removed more matted hair from between her toes. She must feel so much better and however harsh her original cut was she must've needed it. Her hair is noticeably regrowing especially on her face and her first vaccination went without a murmur. I don't think she's been used to exercise of any sort as the last two mornings when she's first gone to uncurl and stand up and also walking down the garden steps first thing in the morning she has yelped with her back leg muscles quivering. The day before she had a 40 min lead walk so I thought maybe that had been too much for her so yesterday she had two short lead walks and some playing at home but still yelped this morning. There's no sign of any limping and she doesn't do it again all day so hopefully it's nothing untoward, just the big change in life style. She looks quite sad in the pictures but she really does have a lot of sparkle. I have a little video clip of her playing. Hopefully the p.c. and Photobucket will play ball and upload it. There is a lot of this... Scrumping for apples.. Phoebe showing her how to gnaw the tree, which she also uses like a cat's scratching post And last night we had the nearest yet to a roach

Great update. She must be so happy with her new pals and being in such a loving home. Looking forward to seeing how she develops and hopefully someone will want to snap her up before too long

I suspect one of many Ro! I'm sure I don't know what you mean Well we've had the pleasure of this little darling's company for a week and it's like she's always been here. Slotted in to our routines, sleeps through the night, no mess indoors, leans in for kisses and cuddles, takes food gently, walks great on the lead but will lunge at squirrels...bit of a prey drive now coming through and soon settles in her crate after being left (I leave the laptop recording to see what occurs when I pop out). It's like she's always been here bless her. After so much change in a short space of time she really has adjusted brilliantly. So much easier than a certain nutty ginger ninja that springs to mind who nearly rendered me unconscious when I came home by blocking my nostrils (my mouth was firmly closed) with her ever lapping tongue and pushing me backward with paws on my shoulders banging my head on the wall . I'd only been gone 20 mins and Tim was home so they weren't alone. The scabs on her face have dropped off now so we'll see if that hair regrows and her whiskers are definitely regrowing. She has white sprouty stubble bless her. A few piccies... Apologies for the collar clash (both very fab though Ro) & muddy smudge from guess who, poor girl has everything borrowed at the moment. Those ears! Toni Basil from the 80's springs to mind with "Mickey"... Squirrrrrrrellllllll!... The dynamic duo (where one goes the other will follow) helping out with the tomato picking.. And helping out in my work room or rather reclining on the sofa watching me work...

Come on Sal... we she needs a name!! Ohh she has soooo many. It's deciding/agreeing on one that's the hard part. I've got square eyes from researching I daren't think how many names. Each time one of us has that eureka moment, t'other one doesn't like it . I'm sure she thinks she's either called Phoebe or Hello.
