UPDATE ON FREDDY.06.10.15. This thread now goes into several pages. He has been with Fiona and Ray now for several months. Freddy has matured into a lovely boy and would make a great family or second or third dog. He has great recall and is fun loving. I am putting on a video here, a current one to show you how he has matured and how beautiful he now is. He has been waiting for his forever home now for far too long. Click on the photo below to view the video. More videos and photos are on the following pages. And when you see how he came in??... he is gorgeous now. ..................................................................................................................................................................... Currentlly in holding kennels in Berkshire. not ideal at all for a dog in plaster. I have been asked by the Sussex Dog Warden if we can take in a small Lurcher pup, golden, but I suspect cross lurcher, although there is saluki in there. He is only baby. The Out of Hours Vets have cast him. No more details at the mo, but photos below.

We're in East Berks so can also help with a transport run.....we could have taken him for the coming week, but would both be back at work next week. If you get another urgent one in the next day or so Jenny we might be able to help.....

Romi/Jenny - oh so glad that he can go to Stevenage and we could prob do most of the run if you want us to, save him moving too much.

Freddy is in. I expect Fiona will update when she gets a mo. It was an afternoon run followed by a vet visit. Huge thanks to Heather and Phil? for yet again another traffic filled M.25 run. xxx

This afternoon we met Heather & Philip and collected this poor boy. Thank you for getting him from Slough. He travelled well in the car , Ray sat in the back with him and he just stretched out over him. Ray thought he looked like a Freddy, so that's his new name. His is a small boy not sure of the size.
We got home and he was very hungry so he had some chicken & rice. He scoffed the whole lot done. He is very food orientated at the moment but I think when he realises that he will get regular meals he won't be as bad.
We were only home for an hour then we had a trip to the vets. He weighs 16.2kg. His front leg is broken so he had a full cast on. He was microchipped, had his first vaccination too. He has to go back in a week for a check up.
At the moment he seems not to fussed about our cat, at the moment he if fast asleep in his crate and my cat is asleep on my lap. He keeps opening his eyes but soon shuts them again. Let's see if anything changes when he settles in.
Let's see how he gets on tonight......

Hope you get some sleep guys! He does look woeful with that cast on, poor fella. Well done and thank you for all the effort everyone put in to make this happen, if Freddie could speak he'd say "ta very much" or "get this effing thing off my leg!"
