Very sad. She looks older/wiser than 3 years. I had patch as an emergency foster after she sadly lost her owner. Patch never left x well done philippa x
Ariel has landed. Steve and Deb were obviously very sorry to see her go and have sent her with a huge bag of toys and a box of blankets, treats and paperwork (including Ariel cribnotes). They have even printed out a few photos of her earlier life for her forever family.
Pluto, their dog, Ariel and Romi's Hamish looked superb together - a little set of triplets - but we were too late to put them in the Family class at the fun dog show. She behaved very well at All About Dogs - she especially loves people but was absolutely fine with all the dogs she met. Super girlie who will be a pleasure to have as part of your family.
She has the sweetest nature and is fast asleep beside me on the sofa. I'll try and get more pics tomorrow to put up.
What a good girl - so easy. Ariel slept in the crate last night - a small whine but then not a murmur. We all nipped out to the little copse nearby for morning business - she was so excited by all the smells etc. She ate all her breakfast - but I did put a bit of my leftovers in it to make it a bit more exciting.
Basically, if she is not eating or out for a walk she likes to be with you - she is in her place next to me at the moment. I'll take her to the common later to meet all the local dogs - Zephyr may be left at home as I think we may have overdone it a bit yesterday and I want to give his foot a rest.
It will be really good for her to meet all the other dogs and people at the Common, and she's going to be fascinated by all the smells and activity. Looking forward to seeing the photos!
Thank you so much for offering this little one a foster home Philippa Aerial must feel so bewildered at the moment and being with you and Zephyr is the perfect place to help ground her
