Hope his poor legs can be sorted, preferably without any surgery. Bella's front leg hardly bends at all after her bad sprain about 3 years ago, but she is not in any pain from it now and rockets around faster than the boys do. Maybe his back ones will be ok when he develops more muscle......as you say he may have been kept in a very restricted space, so now he can stretch them out and have a good run they may right themselves.

Blurry screen looking at those photos of him snoozing, probably the most relaxed sleep the poor boy has been able to have for some time. Janine and family you are very special, thank you for helping him. He reminds me of my heart dog Scrap, slightly wider head though. Hope you had a good night with him.

What a heart warming start to the year. A sweetie and delighted that Brucieboy is in such a loving, caring, wonderful home. Perhaps what he was used to previously. Well done Janine and family and of course SLR. Do hope that given time and expertise this lovely boy will will enjoy painless joint movement. Thanks for all the photos Janine. You are an angel.

Am thrilled to bits that this poor boy is now safe. Thank you so much for taking him in Janine. Saw him on doglost a few days ago and was wondering what was happening as no info given on that thread since then. There was also a female lurcher puppy registered same day by same rescuers and I'm assuming (hoping) that she has been easier to find a safe haven for.

Well done everyone again! Do you think Scooby was whispering...."Don't worry mate, you'll be ok now with this lot!"?

Just so glad that Brucie boy is with you Janine and getting all the love and attention, food and medical help for his poor legs. I bet he does feel as though he is in heaven. Not too sure he will like his boy op on Wednesday. But at least the vet can assess what's the best way to treat his leg.

ok this boy breaks my heart everytime i look in his eyes he just has a look about him poor boy again hes no trouble at all just spends a lot of time snoozing its nice to see him go into a deep sleep and not be worried . he has stopped scoffing his food so much now he knows it keeps coming, and has got more gentle taking treats not snatching quite as much. kisshe can just get on the sofa but has no power at all in those back legs he will rest his head on the edge of the bed but just cant do it so i end up lifting him up he looks as if to say thanks for that. if you say go to bed he goes, sit he sits, always gives paw. I took him and grace for a walk earlier and he was as good as gold looks a bit odd bless him when he walks, and i feel like i want to give him a piggy back but he doesnt seem to be in pain just weak i think hes happy for people to say hi to him a little wary of sticks but thats understandable, he greeted a little dog we met nicely. hes roaching and even had a bit of a wiggle on his back earlier, im glad they are comfy !!

You are doing wonders Janine - Brucie must think he is in heaven! He looks so relaxed with you . He must have suffered a great deal before he arrived into the care of SLR and yours is the best possible foster home for him to realise life can be fun and humans can be kind. Thank you Janine for all your loving care for this poor boy

This thread just makes me cry every time I look at it I dread to think what this poor lad has been through but he just looks so content now and that he can finally sleep with both eyes shut xx I need to sort my marathon fundraising out, if anything will get me through the last few miles, knowing it may help a soul like this will xx
