Little Molly came in today. She has been a tripod for a long time, since before her relinquishing owner adopted her. Her owner has not been able to devote enough time to her and felt that Molly was not getting enough exercise and it was not fair on her. Molly is being fostered in Hampshire with four other dogs, two Greys and two small legs. Molly is neutered, fully vaccinated and says she is ready for the next stage of her life. Molly can't be left for long periods, so we are looking for someone around most of the time and perhaps another dog for some fun. She is very child friendly and other dog friendly, can bark when she first sees other dogs, but is fine when they are introduced. Tiny at just around 18" to the shoulder, she has a lovely character. Foster mum Claire has just sent in these photos. ......................................................................................................... UPDATE 15.01.15.. - MADABOUTGREYS HAVE KINDLY TAKEN SOME PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS OF MOLLY FOR US. Here she is - gorgeous.

She lives with 5 dogs...3 greyhounds and two westies. She has stepped into our pack very easily. Following the greyhound for direction. She will stand by the door to go out for loo breaks. Really really pretty girl with energy and a puppy-ish way about her. Will need some guidence to stop pulling on the leash. But so far so good. **big smiles** and thumbs up.

Well done Daisydip for taking on Molly when you already have FIVE other dogs! It sounds as if Mollie has fitted into your pack very well

Getting Molly into her foster home was a major transport job. I picked up this little girl in Leicester and brought her back down to Reading where Claire and Neil came to collect her and drive her back home to Southampton. I can confirm what Claire said, that she is a very sweet-natured little girl. Really friendly, very wiggly and happy to meet people and dogs. She doesn't seem to realise she only has 3 legs and has a really nice bubbly character... you can definitely see the bit of terrier in her. I hope it's not too long before this really lovely girlie finds her forever home.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you find them still breathing, maybe you can hire the H-Team.

Haha getting to Reading was ok getting out a different story! Molly is doing so well. My pack are teaching her how to be calm. She is great indoors. No accidents at all. She is showing her 'patterdale terrier' side when she is out. Wanting to investigate and join in with chasing a ball or bird or anything really...*smiles* she does settle once she has let off abit of steam. She sits for treats and has an amazing waggy tail for everyone. Pics being sent to Admin as i can't post from my phone.

I would hazard a guess at beddie whippet on one side and patterdale on the other?

My post sounds like I let her off lead...definately not the case. She gets abit of garden play before we go out. Much happier if all my dogs are on lead as when we went uo the field she got frustrated because we didn't let her off. She is walking better now she is having regular walkies.

it's lovely to hear the updates on this lovely, happy, little girl. It sounds like she's getting the best new start and picking up lots of lessons from your pack. I had a feeling when I met her that she would learn a lot from being with other dogs and it looks like she's making good progress. Well done!!!

She is a star. Regular walks and calm big sisters and brother seem to have been what she needed. I find my pack are happier with routine. It is a real pleasure fostering a dog in need. I am fortunate enough to have the space and time to do it. I really appreciate the people who rescue these hounds and especially the founders who saw a need and stepped up to the plate. I'm just a little cog in the wheel. Xxx

Thank you very much to everyone involved in little Molly's transport run and special thanks to daisydip for fostering her. She looks beautiful, I also have a very special space in my heart for beddie whippet types. Hope she is settling in well with your other hounds. Look forward to updates.

Wow, she's tiny. Not much taller than the Westy. Somewhat quieter tho, me thinks.
