Everybody who meets her says how adorable she is. She is so friendly and loves everyone, especially children. I took this video of her this morning to show how good she is at sitting - something she picked up really quickly. Her ears aren't quite under control yet, as you can probably see. I'm afraid the video isn't great as I was juggling the lead and the camera.

Lottie slipped down from the back of the sofa (as usual!) onto Comet last night, but he didn't mind. My 3 are very snuggly so it was nice to see Comet accepting Lottie lying on him like this. She's a very snuggly dog too.

It's really funny seeing how Alice is responding to Lottie - another young dog even more playful that she is. Alice has turned into a disapproving "aunty". I love Alice and Comet's expressions as they watch Lottie playing with a toy pig. Lottie, of course, is oblivious! Sorry about the dark quality of the video.
... we are not amused!!!

I said goodbye to lovely little Lottie Loo today. She's gone to live with Lindsay and Steve in Bristol. She's going to have such a lovely life with them. Updates will follow soon. Tissues are out here... she's so special.

Linday and Steve sadly lost Jake a few weeks back (see rainbow bridge - was Sidney) and I know she will have a lovely loved charmed life with them. She has filled the huge void that he left them, and Christine could see today the lights were on again in Linday's eyes. Well done Christine. Another one under your belt. So... pups are okay too now!!! (runs and hides)! xxx

Lindsay tells me that Lottie is being as lovely and friendly and cuddly as ever... although she's making sure she doesn't make too much fuss of her for the first 4 days, difficult thought that is! Alice seems to have realised that her place as the youngster has been reinstated and she's back to being the norty girl! I'm missing lovely little Lottie, and the dogs are very subdued. I took Alice to a dog behaviourist last week, along with all the dogs, including Lottie, and it was interesting seeing them interacting off the lead. They all got on very well, each playing their own role in the pack. Joe, the behaviourist said that my three were the ideal combination of characters to show puppies how to behave. Looks like I might have talked myself into a new role!!!

Hello everyone,
We can't thank you all enough for your kind comments and for Lottie. We had just collected our dear Jake's ashes and were so sad. When we got home we read the very kind messages left in memory of Jake and as we were about to sign off spotted Lottie. We didn't anticipate adopting another Lurcher so soon, but the minute we saw her we both went quiet and looked at each other, then Steve said shall we ring!
Lottie is getting on very well, enjoying her food and walks and as I write she's sound asleep after her walk this morning with her cuddle rug between her front legs and under her chin!
Our Christmas has truly come early thanks again to you all. Lindsay and Steve xx

So pleased Lottie has settled well and bringing you joy after your sad loss. We never forget those we have lost but new additions to the family help us move on to the future. Enjoy. Xx
