Rosie' s home did not work out unfortunately. We have just brought her back here after an uneventful car journey. She is very timid but the liver cake is helping, and she has now decided she is safe enough to have a good sleep. She is quite submissive and our lot have sniffed her all over and decided to carry on as usual. I hope she is going to find her feet in the next few days and become more confident. Pictures will follow shortly.
Edit: There is an update on Rosie on page 7. If you are interested in Rosie, please, make sure you read it. Thank you.

Huge thanks to Tina who did the first fostering with Rosie. She has come a long way and I am sure with Annette's soft steering she will excel. I think she needs de-sensitising on boxes and people carrying things without seeing their faces. Thank you Annie for bringing her up towards Annette.

Well! What a change in a couple of hours! Rosie has had a fit of zoomies, played with the three dogs, hurdled the sofa and asked for cuddles! The real Rosie seems to have resurfaced very quickly. That did not take long!

Some kevlar trousers maybe? Well done everyone for taking care of Rosie. I'm sure she'll eventually realize that she is safe now, and that whatever once happened to her will never happen again.

Some kevlar trousers maybe? ... Or at least a [cricket] box. It's Rosie needing the de-sensitising,,, not the bloke carrying the [cardboard] box.

Don't worry, folks. Neil is still in one piece! Little Rosie is settling down and has not put a foot wrong in the house. I am hoping she will soon stop flinching when we move unexpectedly. We have taken her out for walks and put her on a long lead to let her have a bit of fun and see how she behaves in the great outdoors. There is a bit of work to do there as well, she needs more socialising with dogs, and to learn that stock, joggers and cyclists are not for young dogs to practice their hunting skills on. But it is early days and she has to get over the recent upheavals in her life first. She is worth it though. She is very affectionate, bright and playful. Her big round eyes follow us all the time she is not sleeping. She is endlessly curious about the goings-on around her and any object we handle is thoroughly investigated. She sits, lies down and goes to her bed on command. She enjoys a good game of chase the ball and brings it back if playing indoors. I have initiated a game of tug-of-war with her and she has been very polite, being careful not to let her teeth touch me and willingly giving me the rope toy when asked. She is also a good sound sleeper and once her head is down in the evening she does not stir until we get up. She is very civilised about food and has not tried to steal anything but she fairly hoovers her own meals. She travels extremely well, unfortunately my lot are teaching her to peer intently at the countryside instead of lying down peacefully as she did when we picked her up.
