Where shall we start? –
Well he now looks like this.... Stunning eh?
But this is his story.....
SCOOBY. Joined his foster family on the 8th July 2013. More than a year ago. He arrived from kennels in Wales in a terrible state, very thin, scared and with nicks all over him. We thought the bitch that came in at the same time might have been his mum, he did rely on her. She was rehomed very easily, but everyone overlooked Scooby.
Scooby with his best buddy Flops in July last year.
Being fostered on the Isle of Wight, he gets to enjoy some lovely walks.
He knows where the treats are on auntie Fran lol x and he's not scared to use his charm to get to them
Scoobs in August 2013

Scooby’s main fear was of the outside world, and particularly of male dogs.
At the time that he came in, Janine, his foster mum, had another male pup, Floppy, and they had great games. Floppy was then rehomed and Scooby became more and more insecure and aggressive on the lead outside the foster home.
He loved the foster bitch, and another foster bitch who arrived.
He loves the children of the family and all humans, and is fine with dogs that he meets regularly and knows.
Cuddling up to his mate
Give us a Sam
A decision had to be made. We decided to splash out the money to have Scooby attend a behavioural course for two weeks in Hertfordshire. He was given intensive desensitisation towards other male dogs when out walking.
His foster mum Janine has continued with his training, and there is a different Scooby emerging.
He couldn't catch her the old bird can still out run the younger ones x scoobs investigated the tunnel by himself !
He has been fine with 3 different foster girls, here cuddling up to Fiver who Janine fostered late last year.
We are not saying that he is cured of his phobias, but he is 200% better. Now ignoring motorbikes and buses and joggers. He will walk towards dogs without lunging and barking and bouncing off Janine’s legs now. It is two steps forward and one step backwards. If a dog comes at him he does forget that he is safe and will lunge. Not his fault, but the use of a “I need space” vest has greatly helped.
We are looking for a home where someone can continue with his desensitisation, where he will have room to run daily, a laid back bitch to mentor him and children, he loves children.

Scooby is very loving, clean, quiet, easiliy left for a couple of hours and will reward his family with cuddles and love.

We had a thread running for Scooby for the last year, but have decided that this new dog needs a new start.
Here are some of the lovely photos and videos that Janine has taken of this boy over the last year.
