This tiny little one has had to come into the Rescue as her mum has a physical condition which now means that she cannot walk her anymore. She is first to admit that poor little girlie has put on a fair bit of weight. At just 18 inches to the shoulder she is a tiny beddie x. We will be looking for a home with preferably a retired couple, or a quiet home. Children are fine. She can be rehomed with another dog, as long as they are introduced properly as she has not had much social contact and tends to sound off at any dog coming into her zone. She will be fostered in the Hampshire area for the next 5 days and then moved onto her permanent foster home. Unless... the right application comes in!!

She could come maybe here if you think Zephyr is calm enough. May need to leave her for a few hours now and then but she would be with Zephyr - and she would need to be able to travel ok as I have quite a few weekend outings - e.g. St FRancis on 24th. Also there are a lot of dogs where I usually walk so that may be a drawback (or it could reassure her - as they are all friendly).

Wish my sister could see this lovely little lady. She is identical to her little one. I keep trying to persuade her to foster!!

She is tiny Judy. Only around 18 inches to the shoulder and very similar character to your sister's dog. I will know more about her a bit later today and then we can see what foster home would best suit her. Hang fire folks. x

Happy to take her but you would need to decide if we are suitable. Zephyr is pretty calm round the house (he has played with the other fosters but only after they initate it) but if you think that we would be too much for her, I won't be offended.

What a lovely girl!
As Heather said, almost another Hugo.
I think Hugo would be too boisterous for her though!

I think that would be a great idea. I think she would be less barky when taken out of her "comfort-zone" where she is at the mo, feeling that she has to protect the family, and put into a pack situation where she has to be one of the gang. I think that Zephyr would be a good dog to show her the ropes, and Philippa has the firm kindness she needs. I can go at around lunchtime today if you like, the sooner the better to avoid the afternoon rush hour across town. I'm out this morning, but please get me on the mobile if you need me.

I think Zephyr would be just the ticket, or Hugo and Lorna. She is not a shrinking violet, but just under socialized. Will ring you Philippa now and let you know Ro..

Certainly not a shrinking violet! She has chased Nero round the garden!

Oh my - looks like she has been hiding her light under a bushel, doesn't look shy and retiring at all. Zephyr isn't quite so easy to boss around as Nero though. Hopefully, she is going to have a lot of fun when she gets to me.

Nah, don't worry Philippa, Nero and Kodi will wear her out for you in a few days!!!

I think a strong male like Zephyr is exactly what she needs. Nero is in hiding.

She'll also get to meet super friendly but lively Poppy, sweet natured, playful Sophie and speedy, happy Millie (all SLR adoptions). But we will take it as slowly as required though.
