Smudge has left the building, & is on her way up to Debyshire with Mum Zoei, Dad Terry, & her new 'brother,' the exquisite Jobi.
After the initial pandemonium had calmed down & the hounds had some socialisation, we took them for a walk in the Town Park, where Smudge & the scrummy Jobi, (can you by any chance tell that I love that lad? ), behaved impeccably.
Back to the home-kennel to complete the boring paperwork:
.........& the obligatory photo-session:
Time for little Smudge to head north with her lovely new family, with whom she'll enjoy a wonderful life, & by whom she's already loved to bits:
May green be the grass you walk on, may blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, may true be the hearts that love you. May God grant you many years to live, for sure He must be knowing. The earth has angels all too few, and heaven is overflowing.

How do I tell Michael that he has to change the website yet again ;D This was another one that coincided with one of our lovely families ringing up at the very moment that we agreed to take her in. There was never anywhere else that she would be going, really. And I must add, whoever decided to discard Jobi was an absolute idiot. He IS the loveliest dog ever. All the love in the world to you Terry and Zoie.xxx

Lovely news for Smudge to joining Jobie and his family. You are doing such a good job at pairing up dogs Jenny and Barney. Maybe I should have waited for a matching lurcher for Belle. All I have ended up with is a farting greyhound. ;D I hasten to add thats her only fault.

First update on the newly-named Millie:
Just to let you know we have arrived back home safe, smudge never made a murmur all the way home just sat looking out the window surely we cant be that lucky twice. I think with a little ticking off now and again she will be a great addition to the family, she loved her dinner of fresh mince and tripe and is now sleeping on her chesterfield chair or so she thinks.Jobi has told her off a couple of times but nothing serious i have a feeling she will settle in really well with us hope it is all right but Zoie wanted to change her name to Millie for sentimental reasons after her mum, to be honest the little girl did not look like a smudge. We will keep you updated of her progress and thanks again for choosing us to give Smudge whoops Millie a permanent home all our love Terry,Zoie,Jobi and last but not least Millie xx
