Ah that's really sweet of you Jenny. These two are great garden designers - they have made their very own pathway round the beds ;D It's so lovely to see them enjoying themselves.

Mr. Tag had a lovely time with the gang today and with little Willow. She made sure that he was alright, and if anyone dared to kick off at him she was there to sort them out, just like mummies do He and Bonnie got on so well together. Mishcief in the making. ;D

I know you are still looking for the right home for Tag and I among many others can not believe he is still looking. You have done all the hard work with him Jenny and whoever ends up with him will be a lucky person. He must be the best trained SLR dogie, bless him. with all the time an effort you have put in with him. Fingers crossed for the boy to re homed A.S.A.P.

I know you are still looking for the right home for Tag and I among many others can not believe he is still looking. You won't find many folks disagreeing with that Jean!
Whoever takes Tag into their home & their heart will never regret their decision: he's a very handsome, extremely affectionate & intelligent young lad, who has responded really well to all the time & effort that Jenny has devoted to his training.
Someone, somewhere, will be better rewarded than if they won the lottery - Tag really is that special.

I think Tag is absolutely gorgeous! I totally agree with you Barney, he seems like the perfect dog. He's stunning and sounds lovely, I can't believe he hasn't got a home yet. (I'd love to have him, but Mum's adament that two is enough! )

Haha, believe me, every time I see a dog up for rescue I drag her over to the computer to show her their pictures! I know she'd love one really, but she's determined not to show it. She just nods and walks off. I've shown her Tag before and I think she really liked him, she kept saying "Aww", especially in the photos where he looked all sorry for himself after hurting his face, poor thing. If only 'eh Fionn would love to meet him. He's another young lurcher who'd (hopefully) play with him. There aren't many dogs he can play with here, as he's too big for the little dogs (he just bowls them over), too excitable for some, and he loves playing with lurchers and greyhounds but there are only 3 others here.

I still can't believe here's here he was the reason i joined the site but i think the other half would go nuts if i had another in this house

I am choking as I type this. He is to die for... Stunning, or what.. I love him to pieces, just wish that the powers that be, Michael, would say yes to him.

As Tag is now officially the only SLR dog needing a home, I should mention that he is currently at the house of horrors DADI.
He's been very good with the residents and slept on the bedroom floor las night without wanting to come up on the bed.
He was put in his crate when we went up to the allotment for a couple of hours and seemed quite content when we got back.
He is a smashing chap and I will probably post some pix after Tour de France ;D

Glad to her the lovely Tag has settled with you and Viv while Jenny is away. I know she was worried about leaving him and what he would be like with you. I am sure as long as he is with a nice family and has other hounds for company he will be just fine and thats what you are saying I think Jenny needs to relax and just enjoy her holiday. Tag could not be in better hands while she is away. Looking forward to the pics.

Make that 3 texts (in 3 days!) For those not following Tag's holiday thread - or looking at this in future years - he does well with other dogs and is sweet.

Ahh every time - and I mean every time I look at Tag it breaks my heart ... Our Bebe Dawg had to be put to sleep in May, so very suddenly due to her lower discs just collapsing - she wasnt even doing anything at the time. Even the vet was shocked at how much pain she seemed to be in. Enough, still chokes me. She too was a beautiful brindle. I hope Tag finds someone soon. I would load a piccie to show you what I mean but cant work out how to! x [/img]

I still can't believe he's with you & can only imagine how hard it will be for you all to pass him on to his forever home especially Jenny.
When i first read his story & seen his eye after the railing incident i sat & sobbed my heart out for him
If only my other half would say yes he's adiment we don't have the space for a second dog at the min

Jenny I just read your comment about giving Tag a forever home: there is a great line in the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" ... "the main is the head of the household. But, the woman, the woman - she is the neck". Men, we love you all but truly, we only let you think you make all the decisions!
