Spoke to soon about the furniture, this is the two of them as I am getting dressed this morning do you think she is making herself at home. I just can't believe how much she has come on in just six days, I am just so glad she is a lot more at ease here now with us, and Belle has been such a good girl at accepting her as part of the pack.

I think that you were probably the only Doubting Thomas Jean - the rest of us knew that Dolly would flourish with you & Belle!

Quite right about Belle. Whilst it is a huge change for Dolly we mustn't forget that it is a big change for Belle too. She has been soooo good about sharing her Mom and her possessions. Well done beautiful Belle

Just a pic of my to girls relaxing after their morning walk in their usual repose these days I can see Belle is defiantly teaching Dolly bad habits. ;D I can't believe how cheeky she is getting last night I was on the PC, Belle asleep on the sofa behind me. Go into bed and find Dolly sound asleep across the the bed, she just about moved over and made room for me Then Belle jumped on the bottom of the bed and that was us for the night. Its so nice to see her learning to trust people and get more confident by the day, she has so many changes in her life. I see by her vax card, she must have come from Ireland in between jabs, sometime between end of March early April. She was then in Kennels with GRWE then on to her lovely foster mum Laurie, who had done all the hard work with her before she came to me, but I think she has decided I am just a push over. ;D ;D

Dolly think she has found a good billet, even if she has to share it.

You're going to need a bigger sofa! She's doing really well. ...and a bigger bed! ;D Dolly and Belle are doing really well together. I had the impression at Much Hadham that Belle was "looking after" Dolly and it certainly seems that Dolly is growing in confidence by the day. Well done Laurie and Jean and Belle - three big-hearted ladies working to make Dolly a much happier dog!

Thank you Barney for putting Dolly on happy endings, and to Laurie who know that once she was here I would soon fall in love with her.

Just added a short video clip of Belle and Dolly that I took a few days ago. I can not believe this is the same dog that would not come in from my garden for the first day or so only three weeks ago. Poor Belle wants to join in the game but just watch what happens.Just click on the link if you would like to watch it. To see how much more relaxed Dolly is with us now. www.onetruemedia.com/my_shared?z=309067a01b26327cfd61ff&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url

That's absolutely delightful Jean.
I reckon that Belle is teaching Dolly how to behave like a Lurcher - probably much to Keith's disgust! ;D.
My word, don't they look exactly right together?

Thanks Barney they remind me so much of naughty kids I think Belle wants to join in with the play but Dolly won't let her and in the end Belle gives up and finds her own toy, than as if by magic Dolly decide she does not want hers any more. Just like kids. ;D ;D
