Might of known he'd have the personality to match - he gives off all the right vibes in piccies! Think I'd have failed with him in about 5 minutes How is he with horses, cats, kids etc? Sounds like you're doing a wonderful job - keep it up and give him a bum scritch for me

Si came for his cat test today ....... muzzled obviously AS YOU CAN SEE SI IS MOST DEFINATELY CAT FRIENDLY But, please remember my cat thinks he is a dog he is very used to sighthounds and doesnt run from them, but also it was hard to even get Si to look at him as he showed absolutely no interest whatsoever ...... So in the house Si passed with flying colours .... we can never guarantee what a dog will do with a running cat in the garden. And just wanted to add Si is looking soooooo much better already thanks to Annettes care, he has already put on weight and he coat is so lovely and soft.

This boy is a dream. I had to leave him on his own in the house for an hour and a half yesterday. When I came back he was snoozing on his bed and nothing in the house had been touched .

Sorry if I went a bit quiet. Si has been reserved by a lovely couple who came to see him the morning of the New Forest walk. He has put on 1.6 kg in two weeks and is booked for his op on Monday. It is great for him that he has found a home so quickly and also better for me. He fits in so well with all of us that the longer he stayed the harder it would have been to let him go!

I'm usually a flookie addict but that lad could change my mind. He's really appealing. Fabulous dog, enjoy him.

He opened the fridge while we were watching Merlin tonight and had eaten half a lump of Neil's best Cheddar before I became suspicious and went looking for him... High kitchen stool topped by large DIY manual placed across door as temporary measure tonight!

It nearly got him out of having his op yesterday as well as he kept bringing up everything he ate for the next day! He was pronounced fit by the vet however and seems to have come through his op quite well. He is now sulking because Neil has taken his mates for a walk and he has had to stay behind with me!

High kitchen stool topped by large DIY manual placed across door as temporary measure tonight! I had to put a child lock on my fridge - not for the dog but the cat Once found him pulling a large Le Creuset casserole out of the fridge. He'd just got the lid off when I came down and stopped him from eating my dinner. ;D Glad the op went well and best of luck Si with your new mum and dad.
