Its so nice to see Willow has found her forever home, she is such a lovely hound. I was glad I managed to meet her on our last walk together , I was taken with her and had even thought about adopting her,but my house is in such a pickle there is hardly room for me and Belle. So I wish a very happy future to Willow and her new owners.

Oh, wow, good luck Willow! And a lovely new friend for her, too. Will we see Willow on walks? She hasn't had a chance to tell off Sykes yet!

Hello all,
As Willow’s former owner I have been checking the site daily so catch up on the lovely girl. I can’t explain how much of a relief it has been to see the amount of love and kindness that has been lavished upon her.
As a responsible dog owner the decision to consider re homing Willow was not taken lightly, especially as we were allowed to give her a home by the great people at Bath cat & dogs home ten years ago. However, circumstances can change (and unfortunately mine did recently) and the welfare of this fantastic dog was uppermost in my mind. Please don’t get me wrong, she was never neglected but I knew in my heart that I wasn’t able to give her the attention that she deserved.
John and Liz I thank you and she looks so content on her lead in the photograph with her beautiful new companion Dyna. I miss her so much. Good luck with the old chatterbox! Also I thought that I would let you know that she answers to the name of Lilly as well. A bit confusing I know but when she came to us as a stray she was so thin that Willow seemed appropriate. But it was a toss up between that and Lilly (the lurcher) and they both sort of stuck. I only mention this as you may wish to rename her for her new life and if this is the case she already has another one!
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to publicly offer my sincere thanks to Jenny & Barney. Not only for their for their incredible help but also for their regular updates on Willow. You took away the worry from an unbelievably stressful time for me. Thank you so much.
All the best
Ian

Ian, I think we all know and can appreciate how hard it must have been for you, and the care you've taken for Willow over the years certainly shows in her condition and lovely personality. Everybody who met her fell for her, from the other dogs to the show judges the other weekend! Good wishes for you from me and Sykes.

I do feel for you ian, i can only imagine how hard it must have been to make the decision to rehome willow, but seeing her so happy and content in all the various pictures and videos, must help, knowing that you have done the best thing for her.
Jenny and Barney are definately very special, and she could not have been in better hands.
Congratulations John and Liz for rehoming Willow, it looks like she has a special bond already with Dyna, and wishing you all many happy years together.

Unfortunately Liz doesn't use the computer much, but John said that he will try to get a few piccies over to me soon. I got a lovely text message from Liz at the weekend.
"Willow doing fine. Dinah loves her. They are both stretched out on the sofa with me". Liz
