STUNNING SPENCER - from home to home-RESERVED

We are looking to rehome SPENCER from his current home in the south-west of England.

Spencer, born in October 2010 is a much loved male broken-coated deerhound/collie/saluki mix lurcher, sadly needing a new home because of his relinquishing family's change of circumstances.

Spencer is in great condition; neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worming treatments. He currently lives with children and another rescue dog and gets on well with all; cats, however, are not his favourite thing! He is fully house trained, has good recall and enjoys his walks. Being a typical young lurcher he will bounce up to other dogs when out but shows no aggression and is currently attending dog day-care for socialisation. He currently weighs 25kgs and probably has a little more growing to do. He is a stunning young dog who is being well looked after and has no baggage.

Spencer will stay with his relinquishing family until he is rehomed but is receiving Southern Lurcher Rescue support; SLR rehoming criteria and adoption agreement will apply. Spencer's family had received some of the wrong sort of interest for him before coming to us but we will of course be looking for the best possible forever home.

Wow he is lovely. Sad that his family are having to re-home him but they must have his best interest at heart and it must have been such a hard decision to make. Don't think he will wait long for a new sofa

She's staying with the family - much loved, too, she's an older, collie-cross girlie who has had some medical issues. She and Spencer get on well but they have different exercise/training requirements and with the family's change of circumstances they sadly don't feel they can do the best for Spencer.

How sad for the family, as Spencer looks such a well-loved and happy dog (not to mention gorgeous).
I just spoke to Jenny about the possibility of meeting Spencer, as we are looking for a young Lurcher to join our family in Bristol
He is stunning, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he finds the perfect home....

We know Spencer just seen him in the park, he really is a cracking dog, Red & Holly love him!
I am sure he would fit into any household who have the time to spend with a loving boisterous boy, I know his family had to think long & hard making this decision
