She can't go for six weeks Rebecca. And we don't know how much she is going to be able to run around after that and whether she is good off-lead. She might be a nightmare and go off chasing. She is always keen when we go near the woods. She has only done 25 yards each way at the mo and not putting any weight on it.

We walked very slowly off the front lawn and onto the field today and Honeybun did it with all four legs in use, very very slowly. ;D

I do know that she is keen on the wildlife around here. Watching very keenly when on the lead. She has probably been used for working. Honey now puts her leg down on slow walks and is doing well. She will have the leg checked again this Friday. It is going to be a long slow process.

Another checkup this morning. Honey is now allowed 10 minute lead walks twice daily. She is using the leg and Glen is very pleased with the Flexion on the leg and foot. The tendons seem to be flexing really well. ;D She loves all the attention. We believe that Honey has been neutered, and Glen thought that he could feel a neutering scar. Fingers crossed. She will have an x-ray in four weeks time but Glen says that Anil can do that as long as he gets sight of it.

A quick update. Honey now walks 500 yards each day. She puts her foot down on all walks, and jumps on and off the sofas She doesn't remember that she has a mending leg. We have found a fault in her....... she will pull on the lead and bark at a distant dog. Well she had to have a least one fault. She is such a happy doglet. Wags her tail even when you are just looking at her. Tries to get round you for lap cuddles. Is happy in the Company of the other dogs. Is quiet indoors, unless you leave her with Bree and take the others out, and then she will whine. But fine if you leave them all with her. She will definitely have to be re-homed with another dog. She just loves them. She gets on with all dogs that come into the house, and greets them all with a wag and a nose kss. And she is being an absolute star with little Breed, who sometimes pushes her luck by hanging off her ears or tail. Honey play bows so beautifully. She has another 3 weeks until she has her leg x-rayed again. I accidentally dropped her lead today in the woods and she went to follow Mims. I shreiked, "No" and she nearly hit the deck and came back to me low to the ground. Wagging her tail. I praised her and must have kissed her half a dozen times. Phew!!! A couple of photos of her today and with little madam Bree. Click to view the video below And pasing the time of day with Milo. And just because she is so beautiful.
