I can't handle all the gorgeous saluki X's you have coming in! She's a younger version of my Gracie. Beautiful! Why is it all saluki X's??

The Vets had named her Honey and she seems to know it so it has stayed with her. But judging by the amount of times her tail thump, she should have been named Thumper. Poor mite has just been out with the others for a last wander, but she is holding it in. Oh joy! We're off to bed shortly, or to try to. Poor Ronnie has some bruising on his ribs that we didn't see before too so he is a little cry baby at the mo.

She is beautiful! Was just talking to my friend who is a student vet nurse - didn't realise it was her vets that took her in! She told me all about the hearts on her cast! I've sent her a link to the forum so hopefully she will join to keep up with her progress. She is EXTREMELY grateful to you Jenny for taking her in as she was turned down by a lot of people and was starting to lose the will to live. Well done again SLR

We popped Honey into Anil this morning. He is going to leave it until Monday morning, have her in and re-xray from both sides, and then decide whether to cast or pin. She was a poppet. Honey weighed in at 16.25 kilos and is approximately 24" to the shoulder, so it around 2/3 kilos underweight. Not too bad. I have had Helen here today with the pup, and apart from grumbling for it to go away, but a grumble that said "I don't know what to do with your approach" she has been a poppet. Her favourite place is in the office on the sofa, so Ronnie has given in gratefully and let her have it. Bless him She has had another meal of chicken and sensitive tinned and at long last has done a wee. ;D She held that one in from yesterday at 8.30 p.m. when she first arrived. I had to go out on the school run and left her in the office with Esme with the door open but the stairgate up. I was about an hour and 15 minutes, and little Honey was still lying on the sofa and thumped that lovely tail at me when i arrived back. She has since had a short walk to the field next door and had her pee and back for sweeties for being a good girlie. She lined up nicely with the others for her sweets. She seems to be a laid back and quiet girlie. But she is in pain with the leg, so I am looking forward to Monday to get her sorted out. Thank god Dominic rang me. This one is a little poppet.

I had the pleasure of meeting lovely Honey today, and WOW is all I can say. She is absolutely stunning both inside and out. She's so chilled and layed back, and her tail thumps as soon as you look at her, and she loves belly rubs too She's going to make a perfect and ever so loyal companion for someone, and a beautiful one at that
