We eagerly await Bruna's arrival - a few things to sort out first - such as her sleeping arrangements (and mine too whilst she settles ). I have only ever owned one dog at a time so any advice on how to settle the two two together much appreciated. I'm thinking slowly and carefully! I will be taking a couple of days away from work to spend settling her in. Luckily her mum is bringing her here and is going to spend a while with me walking the girl's together before she has to leave her My heart goes out to Bruna's mum for making this brave decision.

...and let them get to know each other at their own pace - dont force it - they will work it out!
Pls pass on our love to Bruna's mum xx

Bruna is here. Suzy is pretending she's not No trouble between them at all - just some cursoury sniffing and two little growls from Suze. Bruna is a little upset and I only just managed to keep the tears at bay as she scrapped at the door and howled after her Mum left. She's clearly a little worried but VERY friendly and cuddly - she's nudging my hand as i type She is really, really beautiful. Her pictures (like most of us I like to think) don't do her justice. She has the dearest facial expressions. Pictures and updates over the weekend xx

Fantastic Danielle. She will settle eventually. Suzy may have the odd growl but that's OK too, they need to establish the pecking order!
I hope her Mum wasn't too bad, must be heartbreaking for all concerned.
Look forward to seeing th photos etc xxxx

Poor Bruna's mum This is a heartbreaking one. But at least she knows that Bruna is in a loving foster home and warm and loved tonight. I hope that gives her some comfort.

I slept on the sofa last night - but I needn't have worried. Bruna did not make a peep all night. Up this morning she wanted a cuddle and had a little mooch around the garden with Suzy. This girl's behaviour is impeccable. She is not interested in trying to get up on sofa's or beds. She is a quiet steady little sweetheart (or is she lulling me into a false sense of security?? ;D) She makes Suzy look like a hooligan ;D

What a lovely FM you are!! It would take a lot to make me spend a night on the sofa!
Im sure Suze will soon teach her some hooligan tricks so dont relax too much!
Hope Bruna;s last mum is coping x

Thanks all for your lovely support Bruna was a little anxious this morning, but we took both girls on a really long walk and she loved it. She played and chased and showed us her puppy side. I'm in touch with Bruna's mum via text and have assured her that bruna is coping remarkably well. She's a dear sweet girl who just wants an easy life. x

You are doing such a wonderful job Danielle , sounds like she is enjoying her walks with you and Suzy . Her owners must be breaking their hearts but know it is the right decision for Bruna. Any photos???

Photo's will be uploaded tonight - you have my word! Three days in and Bruna is seeming really rather chilled and settled. Her and Suzy rub along together just fine. I think Suzy get's a little frustrated as she would ideally like to spend a few hours a day locked in a bitey face wrestling match - but Bru is just not really interested. She's not in the least bit interested in the cat, doesn't even look up when there's a knock at the door - in fact the only real peep we get out of her are a few answering barks if she hears another dog piping up. She's got great manners - but I have to admit her life long training to not get up on sofa's was effectively ruined within 24 hours Once she saw Suzy did it - that was that
