Yes he most definitely is a sun worshipper! :-) Seems to prefer the sun to the shade. He had lots of visitors yesterday and was very well behaved...bit nervous around the children, so that's something we're going to try to work on with him. :-)

Settled he is we think! After an exemplary display of good meeting-other-dogs-behaviour yesterday (socialised with many different dogs of all shapes and sizes) he has blackened his record this morning by going straight for a Lab, unprovoked. He landed badly on his "landing" and a quick trip to the vets has shown he has inflamed one of his toes a bit, so gladly nothing serious. Had to carry the sod home though as he was limping quite badly. Luckily we were near the end of the walk. Thinking about it, it seems Victor is fine with a large group of dogs and smaller individual dogs but feels he has to let rip with a large dog face off! Oh well, lesson learnt for owners as well. He is walking pretty well now, and still exploring the garden. He has been prescribed some anti inflammatory tabs for a few days and some rest. Silly dog. David

He is mending fast. Bit tender on the foot but was perfectly happy to do the short walk to the park.

David and I went out to the garden store to get some bits for the garden. As we were getting in the car we heard him whimpering and whining, but decided to give him a go on his own for a bit. When we got back home, we opened the front door to find Victor's bed right behind it. The little old man dragged it there! I guess he wanted to make sure that he was right there when we got back. :-) Boy did I have a good laugh! :-)

Certainly sounds as though Victor has found his paws alright! Do hope he is soon up and running again, but this time not full-on at a labrador Audrey x

Hows the patch on his back doing? Is is still "filling" in. Lovely photos, he is such a sweetie. Miss him still but I can see he is so happy with your love and care x (and no horrible dogs barging him about!)

Rachel, his patch is slowly starting to fill in. He's doing really well. Met two big dogs head on today and there was no snapping or growling. :-)
