TWIGGY-BEAUTIFUL - GREYHOUND/WHIPPET TYPE One of our members, Caroline has sent me in details of this lovely little girl in mixed kennels in Somerset. We have no room to take her in at the mo. Here is what Caroline has to say about her and a piccie. .................................................... Taken to kennels as a stray by Somerset dog warden. The Kennels keep the strays and try to re-home them with no specific funding. Twiggy is a beautiful, possibly 12 months old cream girl about 22”with black eyeliner! She may have been worked as she has come in with pink spray on a wound. She is incredibly affectionate towards people and craves attention-she seems to like other dogs and is desperate for a game. I suspect she may have been a family pet and fallen into the wrong hands. There is no way of knowing whether she is spayed or not and she does have a few scars and although a bit skinny seems very fit. No idea whether she is cat friendly or not-possibly not if she has been trialled for work. If I didn’t already have 4 dogs, she would have been coming home with me!! If you can offer Twiggy a home please get in touch with Mimsmum here and I will pass on your details to Caroline.

Yes we would definitely love to have her but we've not been homechecked and our garden is not yet secure. If you're desperate though please let us know.
EDITED BY MIMSMUM TO ADD THAT SUSAN HALL IS NOW FLUFFYLIZZARD....

Hi Folks I visited Twiggy at the kennels today and she met the kennels cat-at first she ignored it and then got a bit waggy as if she wanted to play with it, so i would not say she is not cat friendly and could possibly be integrated with a confident cat providing care was taken at first. I put a coat on her as it was cold and raining and she did not mind at all, so I reckon she has worn a coat before-she walks very well on the lead and is a total sweetie. I hope there is someone out there who is used to sighthounds who could take this girlie-I think she will be an absolute delight, being very lively and bright and apparently healthy if pretty skinny. Cheers Caroline

Any one would be proud to have such a lovely creature walking beside them

If only I was retired she could come to me (and probably never leave!!!) I do hope someone will save her.

Hi there - I may be able to offer a sofa. We are looking for a lady friend for my lurcher Toby who is an EGLR boy. Cats not an issue as we don't have them!

Phoned the kennels to enquire about Twiggy - she has already been rehomed so that is great news. Thanks Caroline for alerting us to these dogs!
