A few photos from Nina of Maisie yesterday, having a last play with Finn and saying goodbye to foster mum. You have done a grand job Nina. It is emotionally tear-jerking to let them go the first time, but the second time must be so hard. And my god, I have to agree Barney, she is so so like Bridie Here she is Oops. De-stuffing. But cute with it. ;D

be sure to tell her new mum she has to keep us up-dated on her progress, she is so sweet(was secretly hoping i was to foster while you were on holiday) but this is the best out come for maisie,it must be right for you to let her go, be happy mini-me.
have a really good holiday, your nerves must be shattered over maisie.

they are angie, if i could keep her i would, we love her so much, but it is never going to work with our other bitch. she loves fin to bits, but is not too keen on cally, having been got at by other bitches in the past, has obviously left its mark. 90% of the time they are fine and ignore each other, but we are never comfortable leaving them alone together, and i am sure maisie is going to get so much more attention, which she craves and loves from being an only dog, rather than being a 3rd.

just had a phone call from alison this morning, saying that maisie has settled in really well, has been running around with her toys, playing with the children, and generally spreading her affections around. they are all so happy with her, and love her to bits. thats all we ever wanted for maisie, for her to be loved, as she loves everyone in return. have a really happy life now maisie, and we are always here for you whatever nina, pete, kayleigh, cally and finlay xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(am I looking in the wrong place? ) Is she ok - does anyone know how she's getting on? Any new pics? Thanku all! H. x

Hi Helen, The section you are now in is where updates will be. Happy Endings. Alison rang the week before last to say that they had been brave and had let her off lead and she did go like the wind. A bit scary when you are not used to the speed of them. But Maisie was fine. Maisie loves the children and has settled really well. Maisie loves cuddles and is a real attention seeker. Hopefully some more piccies will follow soon.

We have had several updates from Alison to let us know that Maisie, is still as wonderful as ever, as even after 2 years they still can't beleive their luck, in having this gorgeolus girl. Alison is currently looking for holiday cover for Maisie 13-20 july as posted in chat, so any info gratefully received and i will pass on to Alison. This really is the upside of fostering, seeing our dogs being loved and cared for in a forever home, and returning that love 10 fold. i bet Maisie can't beleive her luck either, being such a big part of a loving family. big for you Maisie
