Just left Barney with lovely lovely Rosie. She sits to command and hardly pulls on the lead. She walked into Barney and meeted and greeted. I am sure piccies are on their way. She is..... to die for.... in Barney's words. ;D

I'm beginning to wonder if she will get as far as Norfolk, surely it has to be third time lucky? ;D

He's a terrible tease Yvonne. She coming up I think she has lived in with other dogs before by the way she acts and just accepted them all around her. Also she has good commands. I, and the kennels did notice that she has a little nick wound on her lower hock at the back, so Anil will have a look at that when we go to the vets this afternoon. But she is really in lovely condition and only jut on the slim side. Don't worry, third time lucky!

Ooh, I can see that nick in her leg now Barney. Looks sore doesn't it, but Anil will sort her. I've put some aloe vera gel on it, & she was fine whilst I was applying it, & also when I examined her teeth, ears & paws.
She seems to be
she seems such a sweetie hope the poor sore leg isnt too sore for her, lots of tlc will be given....it would be lovely if she'll share the sofa with Fenton, the others are a bit stand-offish and he would love a doggy friend to cuddle up with

I can not believe it the more I look at Rosie the more like Belle she looks she has even got the same white tip on her tail, the only difference is that Belle has got more of a white bib. She looks lovely and happy now she is in safe hands. Tell me what road you are taking to Norfolk Jenny I think I will do some highway robbery. I have fallen in love with her just looking. I am sure she will have a lovely life wherever she ends up,and if she is as nice a dog as Belle she will certainly end up as a failed foster. Shall be watching with interest, to see how long she stays a foster dog. Fate always lend a hand along they way.

she seems such a sweetie She is indeed Yvonne - she's still lying on the settee & each time I go into the living room to check on her she greets me with a very waggy tail.
Happily it doesn't seem to be bothering her at all.

Happily it doesn't seem to be bothering her at all. we have lots of different creams and sore patch medication here if necessary, the horses and dogs have a bigger medicine chest than us humans It never ceases to amaze and horrify me that such lovely dogs are either abandoned or get lost and not found. So sad, if she did have any sort of home she must be feeling so lost and bewildered many moons ago we took on a dobe direct from her owner/breeder because she was no longer any good for showing or breeding so useless to them (their words not mine), she was only 18 months old, poor Jenna was so very distressed when her owner went even though we all thought it had been done carefully, it was a horribly upsetting time for not only the dog but for us to see how desperate she was looking for her owner and continuously going to her lead and touching it. She became the most lovely loyal dog after she did eventually settle down, sadly we lost her at 6 years old from mammary cancer and I still shed tears thinking about her.
