I have just had the pleasure of speaking to a very very excited family and i am pleased to announce that Ickle Wren has a RESERVED STICKER planted on her bottom. Will be speaking to the family again later and making arrangements - but it looks like she may be in her new happy home for Christmas I am chuffed to pieces (and a little sad)

She is running around like a looney tonight so i reckon she is excited about tomorrow - I know Lucy and Ian are God knows how they are going to sleep .... and god help them if it snows - i reckon they will hire a sledge to get here .... Am going to enjoy my last night of puppy snuggles - but i know there will be another needy pup waiting for me after christmas.... Kleenex box in position by the door We had another lovely lady apply for the lovely Wren who unfortunately missed out this time, but am sure we can soon provide her with a cat friendly lurcher - I will try my hardest

Well, that didn't take very long did it?
They are lucky, lucky folks - she is the best christmas present they will ever have?
Good luck little one!

Great news that this little pup has found a good home but I thought that as a matter of course no dogs rescued from mid December were rehomed till after Christmas. Maybe I have got this wrong but there seem to be different rules for different people?

so sorry if you missed out on Little Wren .... usually she would be with me for the whole of christmas but the perfect adopters just happen to pop along - it happens sometimes .... its nothing against anyone at all, sometimes things just seem to fit into place .... Good luck with your search ... There will always be the next little pup in desperate need for a new home

Great news that this little pup has found a good home but I thought that as a matter of course no dogs rescued from mid December were rehomed till after Christmas. Maybe I have got this wrong but there seem to be different rules for different people? That is the genral rule yes. But when a home offer comes up that is so good, and the foster dog would have been shipped out to another foster home for a week, a decision has been made. A good decision for Wren. There are 3 more dogs going out this week.
