I've had to work every day this week and Dill has been fantastically good. I've walked him every morning before I go (my neighbour's collie always escapes and comes with us too so I have a lurcher who ambles by my side and sniffs at the hedgerows and a manic collie being totally possessed by a frisbee-my poor shoulder). My other neighbour has been popping in several times each day to give Dill some company but he has been totally unbothered at being left and it appears has begrudgingly left his bed to be polite and say hello. Maybe he is just exhausted, I know I am as on my return from work we've been going across the fields for another 2 hours run - I should be fit and skinny in no time at this rate! I have also started to shut the cat in the kitchen with Dill at night and in the morning they stand together at the door waiting to say good morning to me - they don't yet curl up together but I hope we will get there one day. Actually he missed his walk with me this morning as he refused to let me put his lead on and just ran around the garden barking at me and at 7am that's not good then I ran out of time and had to go and get ready for work but Ayeisha made up for it as she was home today so took him out and then got lost going through various fields and ended up walking for about 4 hours trying to find her way home, poor girl, she needs a personal sat nav! Anyway all is well and he really is a lovely gem. We can't believe that we were about to give up on him. :'(x

No, I knew you wouldn't give up on him, just needed some support. He may yet be a bit trying, but now you know how to deal with it, you are top dog. Any more piccies. We love his piccies ;D
