This little pup doesn't have a bad bone in his body. I took him to the Doglost show today and he greeted one and all human and canine with a curious sniff and waggy tail. He also took 3rd prize in best puppy judged by Rob Alaine. He is a pleasure to foster, and is sparko down by me feet as I type. What a gorgeous puplet. We feel we are looking for a home with another dog for this little man.

Ripley is having a blast. Not only is his best friend Ronnie his great playmate but he now has a new foster buddy in the format of little Indy. He's growing fast, and beautifully. And there's always a sofa to share with his new friends. Ripley would fit in with any family, as long as he gets some obedience training and social skills at dog training classes. And if he were to be rehomed with children, then those children must be taught not to pull Ripley around. Ripley would love a dog friend to play with if possible. Click on the picture below to see the video.

And just to show that Ripley can duck and dive. Don't panic. This is Lurcher play. And Ronnie is a soppy, loving playing with the pups.

We need a bigger sofa in the officenow. He weighed in at 12 kilos yesterday and has grown an inch in 2 weeks Send a food parcel please And then there is of course, the Andrex moment. You could have a dog like this. He is learning fast. Is good on and off the lead and his recall is superb. The girls keep him in check if he gets O.T.T. and his bestest friend in all the world is Ronnie, who he follows everywhere. He sleeps all night and apart from if I don't see the signals, he is clean in the house now ;D He gets on well with any dogs, and loves to cuddle up to anyone on the sofa. Here he is with Tag.

This little man is shaping up lovely. Not only does he go out off lead and recall is supberb, but this afternoon I had to pop down the road to the post box so thought I would take him on his own and see what he would be like with the school children and traffic. He was star ;D He trotts alongside, no pulling. He is a very calm little lad and explores the hedgerows now and then. He met several children and loved them and the traffic was not a problem with him at all. He sat quietly by the road-side. I don't think anything will ever phase little Ripper. I do feel that this little man is a pack boy and will need another dog around.

I can't believe this little boy hasn't been snapped up yet. Walked with Jenny and gang this morning and Ripley is such a good little pup. He is very calm for a youngster. Meets and interacts with other dogs beautifully and his recall is excellent.

Ripley continues to be adorable. So easy to have around, apart from the counter-surfing. He can reach the sink and loves to remove the plastic containers and take them to the garden. And my glasses and my shoes But as puppies go he is being an absolute poppet. Sleeps all night in his own bed in our room with 3 of our dogs. Is very faithful off-lead and recall is so good that you have to tell him to slow down. He is a dear little soul. And his bestest mate in the whole wide world is Ronnie. They are such an item. If I could have one wish, it would be for Ronnie and Ripley to be rehomed together. Somewhere out there is a couple, perhaps just newly retired, who would love to have to fantastic easy going and good off lead boys, who just love each other.

We took Ripley over to Elaine and Bruce's Cattery yesterday. He was calm and curious, and when one of the cats came down the ramp to the pen wire, he gently put his nose to it..... but the cat spat at him, sending Ripley backwards and looking up at me shaking. So, yes he is still cat friendly, and now very cat respectful. Poor Rippers.

Holy moly! It's like "giant's footsteps", except when you look away and back again Ripley has grown some more, rather than getting nearer! Ripley is such a sweetie though. I don't generally "do" puppies, but Rippers is different somehow. And he and Ronnie together are so.... awwwww! I get the wants, and know I can't have.
