Sadly, we'll never know his background Yvonne, but there are a lot of good breeders out there also that will naturally remove the dew claws shortly after birth to prevent them from snagging them. I can't remember how big or set the dew claws were on Jessie's pups when they were born.

:)milo is 24"tts .He slept in his crate from 9.30pm until 2.30am then only cried to go out to pee!!!At 7 am this morning we went for our walk it wasnt quite light and the ground was frosty,we went into our local enclosed field he has excellent recall and loved playing with the dogs and he walked on a collar and lead this morning , i cant believe how far this boy has come in two days. Does anyone think Milo and Arthur may be brothers? The odd brindley patches??? Altho Arthurs ears are far more bat-like !

The tell tale sign that they are around 4 months apart could nail that theory Jane.

;D ;Dmilo is a little treasure and my husband is convinced that he thinks hes been here forever ,he is doing very well with his crate trainining may have a little whine for about 20 seconds and then settles down . He woke up at midnight to go to the toilet then settled until 6am and thats because i got up i think he would have slept longer . Doing extremely well on lead walking good around traffic , hasnt taken any notice of the young calfs or horses. When he sleeps his mouth opens and hepuffs air like a puffa fish so i couldnt resist but take some photos!!! he is so scrummy and so placid , we had visitors last night and they fell in love with himxxx

Thanks for the continuing updates on Milo. We're following his progress with great interest. Hard to believe it's the terrified little fella we discovered in the middle road.

;Dmilo is coming on leaps and bounds,he loves to travel in the car as soon as he gets in he just wants to go to sleep!!fireworks have been going off every night this week and last night they lasted two hours on and off and he didnt bat an eyelid. He is becoming more and more confident on lead walking every day .He slept right through last night , let him out a 6 am to go to pee!!!He really is a lovely boyxxx
