Unfortunately she is still a bit red but luckily isn't scratching nearly as much as when we first got her.
She's currently curled up sleeping after having a race round the neighbouring field...can't believe how quick these lurchers are!!

She is so cute and she has the most perfect lurchery ears. Now all she needs is to for them to take on a life of their own like most lurchers - my boy specialises in the 'cross-over' ear So pleased to hear she has a new home - and well done to her foster parents for taking her in.

I'm really looking forward to picking her up and bringing her back to Northampton. I just fell in love with her when I saw her on facebook. I already have 2 lovely lurcher girls, Gracie & Bessie and a little handbag dog who was my Mum's called Poppy. But, I have plenty of room, lots of time and am intending to give the pup the very best life possible. I can't have her for a few weeks until her quarantine is finished but will send some toys etc. By then I will have worked out how to put pics in the message board. I'm so pleased that there are people like Emma because it's not easy having ad poorly treated, ill pup and say 'Your a star'

Hi Kathy!
Princess has put on over a kilo since we've had her which the vet says is perfect. Will warn you though...she seems to be a master climber! She has managed to get hold of the fish food we have hidden and makes herself very comfortable in the office chairs when our backs are turned! I will have to get you some more pics, it's quite a sight...
Emma x

Emma, that's brilliant news. Hounds climb, that's why they check the height of the fences and gates when they home check us. Mine are 7'. I would be shocked if I didn't find a hound reclining on a couch or bed. I'd love to see some more pics, wish I lived nearer, I would make a proper pest of myself. Kathyx

have got some treats to send to Emma for her. I'll try and load some pics of me current girls so that I can put a fairly regular update on the little one. Hoping I can pick her up in a couple of weeks if the vet signs her off. I look at the pics Emma took and she's lovely isn't she
