Bless her, she must be a bit puzzled as to what's happening. I hope she finds a lovely new home very soon ...someone's going to be very lucky. Pearl is adorable.

Bless her! Stacey said that back at home, she didn't have a bed - as in a dog bed - but had her blankets on a chair, so maybe that's why she goes back to her blankets a lot, apart from the "security" aspect of it.

She is getting more confident. Have had them all out for a long walk this afternoon and she seems much better for it. Eaten all her dinner and is now sleeping on her blankets. I think it is the security of them that she likes. She gets on well with Lottie next door - she did seem scared of Bonnie at first but has now realised Bonnie is the softest thing on 4 legs. She walks very well on the lead, no pulling at all. Will get some more pics soon, but thanks to everyone for being concerned for her.

Sounds like she is settling down with your two hounds Joy I am sure they will soon show her how to enjoy life again. She is lucky to be in such a good foster home she might get to like life on Hayling Island. Such a pity she has lost her own loving home through no fault of her own but I know she will be loved and well looked after with you and Bonnie and Sam

To be sure it is Pearly and not Sam you have to check the ears. She is so much more relaxed to-day. She is getting more used to the car and eating arrangements. I am so pleased how much progress we have made in such a short time. I will get more pics as she was playing in the garden, but camera batt was "no good".

Pleased to hear she is beginning to settle in now after her upheaval and sharing the toys with Bonnie and Sam. She looks a gentle little lady and so reminds me of Jenny's little Esme. She is such a sweetie. Viviane. X

Superb news....she will have forgotten the upheaval in no time by the looks of things!
I guess because Im a Libra I like to feel theres a sense of balance in life. Maybe the immense love that is illustrated here by Joy, by the Honourable Mother of Prince Elmer recently, by the proud parents of Bubba Lips Reginald, by the patient parents of Barmey Bax ,....by everyone here in fact, goes some way to balance out the pain and suffering that has been inflicted on these innocent and perfect animals.
Bless you Joy, and sweet Pearly-girly.....sleep safe and sound xx

Sandie - Pearly does have a hint of the much-loved Buddy doesn't she? A beautiful girl, so deserving of love; and I do love oldies xx She does indeed, although a paler brindle, the photos where she looks straight at the camera, the 1st ones on the sofa, expression so similar it's uncanny. Her ears are much longer. She does look a sweety, I hope she finds a forever sofa soon Sx
