Tilly has only just come into us through the local holding kennels. She is a lovely little girlie and settled in well with Richard and Nichola's pack Chas and Patch. She is a little nervous, and just wants to please. I am sure Richard will be along to update shortly.

Well we have had our new foster one night. She has been very very good, and not a sound from her all night. One concern though she still hasn't been to the toilet yet!! Even when out on walks she has shown no interest at all She is very nervous and has barely moved off her bed (I know she will come round in time) I only have a couple of pictures so far as she hasn't moved

Isn't she pretty ? And far too young to be looking that worried But after what you did for Paddy, I'm sure she'll come out of her shell in no time with you guys.

Hi. I have been looking at the SLR forum for several months, but this is my first post. I hope Miss Tilly starts to feel better soon. She looks so soulful. I have actually sent an enquiry regarding her rehoming. I would love to be the human that can help her eyes become full of spark and happiness. I will watch how she is coming along. Thanks for taking care of her!

I have contacted Jenny at the rescue...she is looking into a home check for my husband and I...should I email someone else? This is all new to me. I am from the States, and adopting dogs there is very different. I was day dreaming about walking Tilly this morning...I don't want to miss out on becoming her family!

An update on Tilly.... Tilly has now been with us 5 days and you can already see a change in her. She is now far more relaxed and not so nervous; reason for her withdrawn stature was probably exhaustion, as Tilly has done lots of sleeping since she has been here. She will now happily wander around the house instead of spending all of her time in the hall (which happens to be her favourite place) Her appetite is getting better and now can't wait to have food, and is very eager to get to the bowl. While out walking she happily trots along and is very interested in people and wants to just go up and say hello. Tilly is definitely a people person as soon as she sees you in the morning her tail starts wagging like mad and wants her morning fuss, and then on through the day every time you approach her you get a waggy tail. As for dogs and cats we haven't seen many, there was one close encounter with a cat but she didn't appear interested. We visited the vet on Tuesday for her first jabs and micro chip, she was as good as gold and happily stood there while the vet examined her. When Tilly was weighed I got quite a shock, she came in at just under 25 kilos and I feel that Tilly definitely need to put some weight on One pleasing thing if not a little bit naughty is that the lurcher in her has now come to the fore, when I came downstairs this morning what did I find on her bed only an empty can of Butcher's tripe which had been left on the side in the kitchen from the night before!! I've put up a few pictures so you can see that she does now not look so frightened.

Wow. She looks so much more at ease! And a bit cheeky, getting into the dog food. I will wait patiently to see how things come along.

What a lovely update on Tilly, you can already see in her eyes that she is much more relaxed and settled now. You are doing such a lovely job with her, just give this friendly little girl a few more days and she will be such a little sweetie - I know she will! Way to go, little Tilly! Viviane. X
