I'm so happy for Jessie, the news couldn't have been better! She's waited far too long for her forever home. And I was so pleased when I saw who her new family was! We were camped out next to Carole and Mick for the whole afternoon at the funday last year, and they were lovely, as were their gorgeous hounds. We met them again at Trent Park too- Jessie really will have the most wonderful home with them. And best of all, we'll get to see the lovely lady on walks in the future! ;D Hugs for you Jenny, we know how heartbreaking it can be and how you must be feeling. We all know how much you love her and how much you have done for her, no one could have healed her like you did.

Oh Jenny Such wonderful news for Jessie and at the same time for you such a heartrending loss What a forever bond you have with that little girl, after all you have been through together. How awful to have her leave and at the very same time how wonderful that she has such a lovely home so close by. Intravenous brandy tonight I would suggest. Hugest hugs, Audrey x

So happy for Jessie and her new family and so upset for you Jenny as you have been through so much together. Thank goodness she is so close and you will still see her. Well done for a fantastic end to an amazing story
Bet the house seems empty tonight.

Jessie has been an angel. She whimpered a couple of times last night but Dexter comforted her with a big lick. She went to bed with no fuss and only woke once in the night. I was woken at 5a.m this morning by 3 dogs licking me. We have been out for a walk, chased Dexter round the garden, had breakfast and are now sleeping. I am so grateful to Jenny for allowing us to have Jessie and will take great care of her. Update and piccies to follow in a couple of days.
