And the awful thing is, the photos don't really show quite what a state she is in. There is just nothing to her anywhere but skin and bone. Her tail is like a rat's, her stomach is bald and scaly and her bum shows a dog's skeleton clearly. And as she's been lying in the sun, every rib is clearly visible all the way up her rib cage.
Didn't stop her chasing the pigeon that dared land in HER garden though!!
I'm pleased to say she passed the guinea pig test with flying colours earlier- I put them out in their run and she looked at them for about 3 seconds before walking away. Makes life a whole lot easier!
I just love the pic of Ginny holding her head up to the sun, looks like she is almost basking in the feeling that at last someone is loving her. If a picture could paint a thousand doggie words, that's up there with the best of them. Rx
wow Ginny looks sooo good...what a sweet wee face:) She will make a wionderful addition to a very lucky family. Amazing how dogs can still trust humans even after such horrific abuse. THank G for SLR. Sweet dreams to you sweet Ginny girl xxx
