Today we took in two gorgeus little girlies found tied in a communal area of a block of flat. Flea infested and very malnourished. She is gorgeous, said to be around 2 years old and has had a litter of pups in the last 13 weeks. Little one is being fostered in Farnham and I am sure that her foster mum will update you all shortly.

I would update if only I could decide on a name for her. She answers to any and every name we try - she just wants to be fussed and couldn't care less what we call her! She also likes making herself comfortable on the sofa We're having a quiet night watching the footie tonight, so I'll get photos tomorrow, by which time we WILL have decided on a name.....

OK, after much deliberation (I was awake at 4.15 with names overflowing my brain....!) she is now called Ginny. And she is a funny little girl - absolutely full of the joys of spring, tail wagging and jumping about. Funnily enough, despite what she's been through, she seems less keen on dogs and totally besotted with people. Her favourite place so far is curled up on the sofa next to someone.
Pictures will follow.....

Ginny is a seriously lovely girl! Despite every vertebra on her back sticking out, she's just rolled over so I can give her a belly rub Other things I should probably have said but haven't - she was really scared when she met Millie and Percy, but has settled down just fine with them now - she slept in her crate last night without a murmur and was clean and dry in it overnight - she's been going to the toilet in the garden when the door has been left open for her, but I haven't been able to spot any signs of her needing to go when the door is shut (something for me to work on!) - she greets everyone with a waggy tail - she has joined in the general barking that means someone is at the door, so is not afraid to make her presence known! - she is wonderful! I have sent some photos to Mickeysmum, so hopefully they will be on here soon

oh dear the tears, just couldn't hold them back - Ginny you are beautiful and I hope you find your forever home very soon. Shame the old boy can't cope with more than me and Gracie - we just take up too much room on the sofa! Shame. xxx

poor little girl, in the most recent photos her face looks so happy ,proud and trusting despite being so thin and sore on her poor skin, she is gorgeous both inside and out. We hope she settles well in her foster home and starts to feel much better

Thin and sore she most definitely is, but she doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for her - this girl is most definitely a happy soul! This morning she's been running up and down the garden, and in and out of the house, mainly because she can and it's fun!
