Just got back from Pets at Home with some goodies for the lovely lad. Great to see the new photos. He really is stunning. Names? Good Question. Suggestions welcome - we have come up with Lewis or Zach Peter prefers Lewis as he can imagine him running at 100 mph plus Just grabbing the camera and will keep you posted. All being well, we will see some of you, no longer dogless, at Mogador.

We feel very lucky to have this lovely flookie boy with us. He travelled well back to ours and seemed very interested in all that was going on. He seems so good natured and we cant help feeling someone, somewhere is missing him. Thanks to Jenny and Nikki and Ade for all that you have done for him today. He has been fed and watered, had a play, poo and a pee and is now fast asleep not on his bed, nor the vetbed but the sheepskin rug. Lots of kisses, cuddles and leans. We shall sleep on it before finally deciding on his name and will get some piccies on the forum tomorrow.

The Flookie boy seems to have settled well. He only woke once during the night to go out. Other than that he was very well behaved. He has found out he can get up the stairs but unsure about coming down. He spent the night lying next to our bed. The name Ashley seems to fit him very well so we may call him that He seems very vain and is often caught looking at himself in the mirror. He's had his morning walk and breakfast, doesn't seem to like the Surrey water as he hasn't much. Attachments:

I am sooo jealous - he is gorgeous Ashley suits him too Don't panic too much about not drinking: some of the Saluki X's barely drink at all (unlike their Affie cousins ). Depends what you're feeding but, on wet food, our Judy would barely drink 50ml a day when she was younger.

Personally I wouldn't vote for fluke, mainly because the first thing it made me think of was this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liver_fluke(Anyone else who's read the All Creatures Great & Small books may be the same....!) I think he looks a bit regal & for some reason keep thinking of names beginning with L, like Louis or Lancelot! GL with him anyways, beautiful-natured dog. cheers

Since his looks & temperament are both somewhat angelic, how about Gabriel? Or Raphael?
