Izzie just looks adorable. I am so glad she has had such a lovely person looking after her, getting her back to good health.
There are so many lovely lurchers, including Izzie that I wish I could give a home to, but I know that I have to be sensible, I know the time isn't right for me, as I lost our beloved Saluki/Lurcher Megan, yesterday. She was 15yr4mths, which I know was a good age, but I feel heartbroken and I need to deal with that before giving my heart to another adorable dog.
Izzie, I hope Aunty Helen will give you a hug from me, I wish you find your forever home soon.

My heart goes out to you. I lost our senior greyhound/lurcher before Xmas & felt so terribly heartbroken, I couldnt shake myself out of it, wishing I had done more for him at the end - favouite walks/treats etc , but I realise now he couldn't cope any more. I had a huge gap in my life, evenutally I started to search rescue sites over a few weeks just out of interest and came across SLR & fell for Barley now Brindie on her thread & sent an email to Jenny, then found myself building my hopes up for her, we now have her and love her so much already she is mending my heart , she cannot replace Chevy but we can see him through her sometimes and she brings back the happy memories of his younger days. You'll just know when the time is right, then it will be right, God bless you and Megan xXx

We have to go on... otherwise who is there for them...
