Had a great night with Little Pekoes. She slept right through in her crate til 6.10 when she politely asked for a wee, then went back to bed til 7.
She is SUCH a puppy. Absolutley barmy! Remember the post a few weeks ago, what would your dog say if it could talk? There is no doubt that Pekoes would be constantly saying
Hello, how are you? Can we play? what's that? Come here! Hello I'm Pekoes, oo can we play? Oops sorry, whats that? Come here! Can we play? Hello! I'm pekoes can we play?............... I think you get the jist!
This little dog is a pure delight, and gets on so well with my 2. Very respectful of Tarka, who has just growled once and Pekoes took that as her one and only warning.
She's such a licksy kissey girl. After what she's been through I just cant fathom why she'd be so trusting. There are no issues with her, as long as she's got a cuddle and a toy.
Lively little Pekoes is still being a good girl. She sleeps really well, so quietly in her crate. But boy do you know when it is morning! I have never had a greeting like it. It's like she cant get her tail to wag fast enough or her smile to grow big enough.
She has the HUGEST heart I have ever known in a dog, love just radiates from her.
She loves going out exploring. She wags the whole walk and greets everyone she meets with such warmth. It's like she's never known any bad at all .
She's also putting an awful lot more weight on her leg, as long as she's not hooning around like a wombat!
She's cheeky, lively, loving and just plain daft! She's going to make someone such a loyal and wonderful doglet.
Isn't it amazing, Helen, how loving and forgiving these little dogs can be............ Little Pekoes has realised immediately that there is nothing but fun and love in her life anymore......... she soo much enjoys it!!

Thank you all on the lovely glowing reports on Little Pekoes, I am so proud of her for being such a good brave girl, I will never forget the day she came to me
(I was closed for 2 months after injuring my back badly)
and when I saw the nervous shaking creature with the poor hip all shrunk up, I could not say no and even though she was only fed and cleaned out and put into a run every day for a couple of weeks she just glowed and when she had enough weight put on she had her operation and all the staff loved her for the week she was in hospital.
She is a very brave dog and I am so proud of her as she came on great in her time here and now she is in heaven.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and all you need do is look at her to receive your thanks.. LOL
