We have bad breath again so may have to go see Anil to see why this is happening. Could be gum disease again. Apart from that she is lovely and at the moment, still my foster.

Oh that's sad to hear Jenny, I hope Anil can get to the bottom of her teeth problem I am so glad she is with you Jenny, but if at any time you need a new foster I know she would be so happy here with my old boy Sammy, how he's had enough of these young, mad Lurcher boys ;D

At long blooming last ;D And it took Vaila to offer to look after her whilst we have a holiday (or two) this year for him to cave in. Miss Esme will be joining the mad house of the Symmons family, officially, and is now Miss Esme Symmons. Ezzy for short. I have always kept the ASBO's, the unwanteds and this time my heart just won't let her go. She would have fitted in anywhere. But she is my oldie. She has just melted me. She commands attention. She jigs for her dinners, and she has a deafness not known with whippets before. She is not a replacement for Miss Elly, but her equal. She snuggles, she begs, she is just amazing for her age. And she is mine.. Elly liked her very much and they would stand together as if passing the time. And I know Elly would want me to have another oldie. I promise the Rescue will not suffer with any undue expenses. Esme is home.

Decisions needs to be made about her future. There is war in the Symmons household at the mo. ;D It did dome on me at that time that you would not be able to part from this lovely old lady any more, Jenny. Quite honestly, I think most of us fell for little Essy the moment she arrived as she is a very precious and special little girly. Well done, Jenny and Michael, hope your war's finished by now and of course we can all have a little bit of Essy when we see her on your posts. Viviane. X

I thought today Micheal might be weakening, ;D Miss Elly would be proud of you Jenny taking another oldie into the fold. Esme is a little poppet, remind me if I am ever tempted to take on another hound make sure its a lovely oldie like Esme and not an ASBO greyhound like Dolly, well I suppose she will be a golden oldie one day I live in hope she will be five this August so I only need to wait another five/six years. Well done Ezzy for finding yourself just the best home.
